Even in a simple sketch, his mother's beauty was unmatched. "Beautiful." Eros said softly. "I think...no, I know that she will love it. You are very talented." He told her. As for improvements, he wasn't sure what to say. The sketched seemed perfect. "Personally I love it as is. I'm certain she will as well. You captured her beauty very well." Eros commented with a smile. His mother was going to love it. "You should certainly offer it to her at her temple. Who knows, you might even see her."

Kaneko worked hard that day despite there not being many people. If she wasn't serving anyone, she was clearing tables and taking dishes to the kitchen to be washed. When she wasn't doing that, she was moping the floor. In the meantime, her father was planning how he was going to confront this vampire that had somehow escaped death by his hand before. "How is it he is still alive anyway?" He said to himself. It just didn't make sense. He had thought that he had killed him, but now he was back and apparently knew his daughter which only made things worse. He needed to protect his daughter from this bloodsucking monster at all costs.

Breakfast went as it normally went, and after washing the dishes Kaneko was out of the house and at work. Her father had left before she had as usual and when she arrived at work she made sure to send him a message saying she would be working late again today. Once her father got this, he smiled. It was time he finished what he had started years ago. Locating Allen though wasn't going to be easy, he would have to wait until dark. Until then, he figured he could at least prepare and hopefully this time he would finish Allen. Something he should have done long ago.

Eros nodded and continued to enjoy his dinner while Sapphira and her father talked, not wanting to interrupt. When he had finished, he was not expecting the dessert but smiled. Still, he had wanted to help Sapphira and stood up then walked to where she stood. "May I help?" He asked her. "It's the least I could do. You made me dinner, and even made me some lunch this morning. Let me at least help with the dishes." He said to her, giving her a warm smile. His mother saw this and frowned. "Oh dear, warm smiles don't work anymore. Where's that charming smile you got from me!" Aphrodite whined then vanished and appeared at her house just as her husband was walking in. "My love!" She ran into his arms and kissed him softly before taking his things from him and setting them off to the side. "How was work today?" She asked, serving him some dinner and then some for herself. "These mortals are idiots." Ares grumbled.

Lyle pouted, "I hate cliffhangers." He sighed. Authors did this on purpose just so that could sell more books. It was annoying but he always bought the books anyway. "Of course we will. I want to know what happens." Lyle agreed and thought of the other books she had brought with her. "Well...how about the dark blue one with the dagger on the cover?" He asked. He was never good with names but a book cover design was something he never forgot.

Amalia just shook her head and continued to cry. In truth, she just wanted to go back home and pretend this had never happened. Troy was mad at her, it was obvious. The butler returned with some tea for her and a box of tissues. "Sir, perhaps she just need to sleep. You could always try to woo her later." The butler said with a smirk. Troy looked at him and blushed, quickly looking away. "I am not trying to woo anyone. But I think you're right, perhaps she does need to sleep. See to it that she has a comfortable room to sleep in. Excuse me." He said and walked out of there in a rush while the butler only chuckled and walked Amalia to the room where she would be staying in for the remainder of the storm.

"Where have you been? I was about to go looking for you myself." Kaneko's father wasn't too happy at how late his daughter was getting home and when he noticed the food, it only confused him more. "I was out for a walk. I went to get food. I ate, but I brought you some food back and even the cookie. I'll heat it up for you." She said but her father wasn't having it, saying that he didn't want her staying out so late again. It was taking all of her self control not to explode on him. She was never allowed to have any fun. He didn't want her to have a job. He didn't want her to have friends, he didn't want her out late. It seemed he didn't want her to have a life of her own and it was starting to get to Kaneko.

She remained silent and heated up the left over food foe him, serving it on some plates for him and setting them on the table with a glass of water. "Enjoy." She said simply and threw out the trash then left to take a shower and got dressed for bed. Tomorrow would be a better day. She hoped. Laying in bed that night after having washed the dishes, she heard her father snoring in his room and thought about today's events. A smile on her face. Maybe kissing Allen's cheek wasn't a good idea. What if it made him uncomfortable? Would he bring it up next time they talked? Would there be a next time? Kaneko pulled the warm blanket up to her chin and got comfortable in bed before closing her eyes and quickly falling to sleep.

If Eros weren't so polite, he would have spit out the food he was chewing when he heard where she had gone and what she had done. "You sketched out Aphrodite?" he asked her. That was impressive, he wondered if his mother would like it. She was so...well his mother was a nice lady but so...full of herself? His uncles and aunts have all boosted her ego by saying she was the most beautiful woman in all the world. Even Hades agreed and would drag anyone who didn't believe it, down to the underworld with him. "I'd love to see it. I'm sure it's lovely and who wouldn't like getting art?" He said with a chuckle, taking another few bites of the food.

Lyle nodded and waited for her to return and when she did he made sure that he was comfortable and smiled as he listened to her. "I believe so." He answered quietly. When she began to read, he relaxed further. He just enjoyed listening to her, she had such a soothing voice when she would read like this. He hoped that they would never just stop doing this no matter how old they got, it was something he would always look forward to. He even chuckled, hearing the different voices she tried for each character. She would make an excellent mother someday. He kissed her cheek and continued listening to her.

What was Amalia supposed to say to that? "I didn't plan on s-staying and I knew it was a stupid idea but I didn't think I w-would remember to bring them over tomorrow okay? I didn't think and I'm sorry, it won't happen again!" She had begun to cry and Troy looked surprised at her reaction. "Shall I get her some tissues sir?" A butler asked him, having come in to retrieve the empty cup that once had hot chocolate. "I didn't mean to make her cry." Troy said to the butler. "Well sir, I believe it. However, if I may say something. The woman is probably afraid already as it is. Stuck in a place she isn't familiar with and with the prince no less. I wouldn't be so hard on her sir." The butler explained before leaving to get some tissues. "I'm sorry, please don't cry. I'm not angry. I guess I'm just more worried than anything. I should be flattered that you would walk through a blizzard just to see me...but I'm more worried about you possibly getting sick because of this." Troy admitted softly.
