He wondered what Troy was doing but hoped he wouldn't get upset that they weren't spending time with him. It was just for today, Troy could manage.

Troy sighed hearing her, "I wouldn't say that." He had her sit back down and placed the blankets on her again. "We all do silly things when we're in a hurry to do something. We all sometimes forget to think things through. That doesn't make you a fool." Troy started and sat down across from her. "Thank-you for the tarts. I'm going to enjoy them later with some tea. I just wish you would have waited. You're lucky you didn't freeze to death on your way here." He told her just as a servant walked in informing him that her aunt had been notified. "Ah, well good then." Dismissing the servant, Troy looked at Amalia again. "You didn't tell your aunt about the trip you planned on doing? Didn't you realize there was a blizzard going on?" He asked her.

"It seems that we've all been pretty busy today." Eros admired how Sapphira always wanted to help people when she could even though it wasn't required. He wished more people were like her and they probably were, he just didn't notice them they way he did her. "Some sketches? What have you been sketching lately?" He asked, taking a bite of his food.

Once dinner was ready, Aphrodite put the heat on very low and smoothed out her dress then fixed her hair. She always had to look her best for her husband and for whoever else was watching. Her husband would be arriving soon, he would probably be tired. Hopefully hewasn't angry. He wasn't always the most patient with the mortals but he was trying which was what mattered.

Kaneko's heart skipped a beat once his thumb grazed across her cheek, she felt her face get warm and she knew she had to be blushing now. "I..I know Allen. I just..I worry is all. I would be very upset if you were to get hurt and I wasn't able to help prevent it." She said softly. She was worrying too much, he was perfectly capable of taking care of himself. He was not a child. "Good night to you as well Allen. I promise to be safe and I look forward to s-spending more time with you." She was fidgeting with her fingers now. A habit of hers she displayed when nervous. She turned to leave but stopped and walked to where he stood; quickly she kissed his cheek and walked away. A wide smile on her face and blush dusting her cheeks.

Lyle enjoyed the food and when they had finished, Lyle's parents and Troy's parents were in a deep conversation about who knows what. He finished his coffee, already feeling refreshed and followed Aria out of there. A place to read, someone comfortable. "Parlor room.." He said quietly. There was a lot of sitting space there. As long as he wasn't sitting on the floor he was a happy prince.

Troy took this time to really look at the box and smiled when he saw it was lemon tarts. "How much?" He asked her. He was sure his mother probably ordered them. Amalia shook her head. "I-it's of no cost your highness. I...I m-made them myself f-for you." She said quietly and after she felt warm enough, she got up off the chair and set the empty cup down on the coffee table. "I-I really need to go. S-sorry for bothering you, I won't do it again." She said and turned to leave but froze when he held her wrist. "You'll freeze to death out there. You must stay here until the storm passes." He instructed her, then released her wrist. It was the same girl who had a crush on him and he could guess why she made him the tarts. "Why didn't you just wait until tomorrow to hand these to me?" He asked her. Amalia fiddled with the lace cuffs on her sleeves and shrugged her shoulders, refusing to look at him. "I made a fool of myself haven't I?" She asked quietly.

Eros smiled, "Hello Sapphira." He said and followed her inside and towards the dining room where he took a seat and greeted her father. "Thank-you again for the invitation." He told the man. Eros looked at Sapphira when she mentioned his parents and nodded. "They're doing well, thanks for asking. My father wasn't home yet when I returned. He likes to stay late sometimes at work. I wished to speak with him but that can wait." Eros answered truthfully. He never understood why his father stayed late, but he guessed it was a good thing. Especially now if the rumors were actually true. Eros thanked her for the dinner, it looks and smelled wonderful. "How was your day?" He asked her, wanting to know what she had done while he and her father were at work.

Kaneko stood at the edge of the woods and looked at Allen nervously. She squeezed his hand again gently and chuckled. "It was my pleasure as well." She started and was silent for a moment before speaking again as the wind picked up for a moment then calmed again. "I..I should p-probably go now. I don't want my father to worry. Will you be alright getting home?" She asked and bit her tongue. "W-well I mean, I know you are capable of getting home. I just...well..just be careful. The woods are a scary place at night." Kaneko explained, hesitantly releasing his hand from her hold.

"I uh...I guess I'll see you again soon." Kaneko now had a picnic to plan and she only hoped that he would really like it. She herself was really looking forward to it.

Oh right the ice. He had forgot about the ice. "Of course, that sounds perfect to me." Lyle answered and started walking back to the dining room where he pulled out the chair for her then sat down beside her and the first thing he did was drink more of his coffee which had gotten warm and then ate his breakfast quietly. He was looking forward to just spending the day with his fiance.

Troy was shocked when he saw the girl at his door. Was she crazy? Or was she just an idiot? She was holding out a box towards him which he took and set on the side table then immediately pulled her into the house. She was ice cold, it was a miracle she hadn't passed out. Amalia was surprised when he had pulled her in and shivered where she stood in the room. "I need some blankets and some hot cocoa!" Troy ordered. The servants, having never heard their prince yell immediately got to work on getting what he requested.

Troy looked at the girl who was covered in snow which he carefully had a servant dust off of her before Troy led her to a chair by the fireplace. "Sit." he told her and Amalia, being afraid, simply did so. She couldn't bring herself to look at him. "I'm s-sorry.." she whispered softly. She had made him mad hadn't she? The servants arrived with the blankets and the hot chocolate which she accepted hesitantly. "I should j-just go home. M-my aunt w-will be worried if I'm not home." She said, trying to get up. "Don't move. Just sit. It's too dangerous right now to be walking around, but I will have someone call your aunt and tell her you're fine." Troy said and after Amalia reluctantly gave the number to a servant, she looked down at the hot cocoa in her hands and sighed.

Eros smiled and nodded, "You too sir. See you soon!" He said after him and then practically ran home. "Mom! Dad!" He called out as he ran into his house. He quickly closed the door behind him and found his mother working on dinner. "Hello dear, how was work?" She asked him. Eros managed to calm down and nodded, "It was good. Great. I uhh...w-where's dad?" Eros asked, noting that his father was nowhere to be seen. "Your father hasn't arrived home yet but he will be here soon. Why?" His mother asked him. Eros sighed. "I just found out that war is on the horizon. I was hoping to talk to dad about." He replied honestly.

Aphrodite knew this was bound to come up eventually. "Well you can talk to him about it at dinner. Now wash your hands and help me set the table." She ordered. Eros did as he was told without fail, but then turned to his mother. "I uhh...I was actually invited to have dinner at Sapphira's house. Her father invited me." He explained and gave his mother a small smile. "I said I would go. C-could I mom? Pleeeeaase?" He begged, making her laugh. "Alright then dear, you can go, but don't stay too late. You know how your father and I get when you aren't home on time. Your father might go around killing men in order to find you." She warned.

Of course he would be home on time. He'd have dinner, maybe stay after to help clean, talk to Sapphira for a bit and then head home to talk to his father. Everything would be fine right? Yes, of course it would be. His father would know what to do. "I'll be home on time, I promise." Eros promised his mother and kissed her cheek before starting to make his way to Sapphira's house.

"There's nothing wrong with worrying... Just shows you care." Lyle replied softly then looked up having heard something like a knock. Maybe he was just imagining things. "Aria, I don't want you to ever change. If you want to worry, you can. I love you just as you are." He nodded when asked if he wanted to take it easy today, "Oh could we please?" He asked and laughed softly. "I'd love to read with you again, it's been a long time since we did that last." Lyle just wanted to curl up at her side and sleep, but that was probably just because he hadn't had his coffee yet. "Come now, we need to eat and I need my...coffee and then we can read."

There was that knock on the door again. This time even Troy heard it and raised a hand towards the servant, "I'll go get it." He said. This was a stupid idea and she was sure her aunt would be furious when she woke to find that she wasn't in her room. However, Amalia had been up very early baking some lemon tarts for Troy. She didn't know why she even did this, it wasn't like it would change anything. She was a commoner, he was not. He was probably already promised to another. Amalia was just stubborn. Stubborn and freezing. She couldn't see much through the storm and she couldn't feel her feet or hands which gripped the box of tarts tightly. "You are an i-idiot!" She said to herself, shutting her eyes tightly as her hair whipped across her face.

The door slowly opened and when she opened her eyes to a squint, she saw golden hair and wide golden eyes staring at her. Amalia looked away nervously and held out the box of tarts towards Troy then. "F-for you, p-prince Troy." She managed to say to him.

Aphrodite squealed with glee when her son was invited over for dinner. "Say yes!" She gasped to herself. Eros was not expecting to be invited over for dinner, but he had to admit that it felt nice to be invited. During work, he refrained from speaking about the war. He still wasn't so sure the rumors were true or not and he didn't want to worry the man. He still needed to talk to his father about this. His father being the god of war would know if the rumors were true or not. Would his parents mind if he had dinner elsewhere? "I would love to. I'll just let my parents know that way they don't worry." Eros explained. Aphrodite grinned and clasped her hands together before vanishing and appearing in her kitchen to get started on dinner for her family. Her husband should be home soon.
