"I might have to put some ice on it." Lyle explained to her quietly. Troy overheard this and looked to him once they were seated and breakfast was being served. "Hurt your knee?" He asked. Lyle nodded and explained to him what had happened. "I see..well I'll have them give you some ice for it." Troy explained. The table was filled with all sorts of foods and the adults chattered on about anything. The men discussed work while the women discussed social events and future parties to be planned. Lyle sipped at his coffee and took a bite of his food. It was delicious. His knee was bothering him though, and he was trying not to focus on it.

Eros blinked in surprise, so he was late? "He left for work already?" he asked and sighed mentally. Running clearly hadn't helped him get to work on time. Maybe he needed to wake up much earlier. Eros chuckled when she mentioned him leaving without lunch. Lunch...right he probably should have packed himself something as well. It was no matter. He was a god, he could survive if he missed lunch once or twice. No big deal. Eros nodded and crossed his arms across his chest, "Sure, I'd like that." He said to her softly.

I have class tomorrow and then I work the weekend. Ugh. At least after this weekend it's only one more and then I'm done. The most annoying thing for me is waking up at 3am. I'm always so moody at that hour.

"Be good Eros and don't stay out late." Eros' mother warned him before giving him a kiss on the cheek and sending him out the door to go help the man he always did. "He's a smart boy love, he knows better than to stay out late. The streets are dangerous for even a god when it's dark." Hephaestus said from his seat at the table. Eros had eaten quickly saying he was going to be late to 'work' if he didn't hurry. "May Zeus watch over him." Aphrodite said, her voice quiet. Being her only child, of course she worried more than she should. "Father will. You know he loves the boy." Ares said, hoping to reassure his wife. "Yes, I know he does." She said and closed the door then walked over to where her husband sat and kissed his cheek. "Are you going to be working all day again?" She asked him.
Eros left with his mother's warning in his head. Of course he'd be home early. He always was. His father was usually the one who stayed out later working late into the night. He ran off in the direction of the man's house only to bump into Sapphira. "Oh hey, sorry. Umm, you're up early today; is your father home?" he asked her politely.

Lyle hadn't even bothered getting dressed. He was still in his silk pajamas and had even put on his black bathrobe to keep him warm. He probably didn't look anything like a prince right now but he didn't care. He greeted the others in a quiet voice and thanked Aria for the coffee still piping hot. He kissed her forehead softly and sighed when she asked about his knee. "I don't know. I haven't even looked at it." He replied tiredly, his eyes closing for a moment before he forced them open again and made his way to his seat, pulling out a chair for Aria first and taking a sip of his coffee.

Small Bio: Eros, God of love. Son of Aphrodite and Ares. He's a kind soul and is in no rush to fall in love, thinking that he'd have no trouble wooing any girl he wants. He is pretty good friends with the nobles, one in particular who has an only daughter. Eros talks to her whenever he can and enjoys helping the man out whenever the daughter isn't available. It's a good way to keep himself grounded.

Small Bio: Goddess of love, mother of Eros and wife of Hephaestus. Finding a husband was not difficult at all, but choosing one of the many choices was. Her husband is often feared by many as well as respected. As is the wise thing to do. With Ares around, she feels the safest she has in years. She busies herself with keeping her men fed and watches over her son, wondering who will be the girl to win over his heart.

Small Bio: God of War, father of Eros and husband of Aphrodite. Many men envy him for having the most beautiful wife and he feels honored that she chose him. He knows he wasn't her only option. Anyone that knows him, knows they'd be fools to cross him or his family. Whenever there is conflict, he is the one people turn to for guidance although that might not always be the best thing to do. He's a good man who would do anything to protect his family. He is usually busy training the warriors that defend the city and sometimes stays out late doing so.

Each day that passed, Lyle did anything Aria asked him to. Even going so far as to skate and get a bruised knee. But she had fun and before he had gotten hurt he actually had some fun too. Though, he was still terrified of the activity. He, Aria, and Troy all spent their days together having fun. It was a much needed vacation. The following morning, Lyle started to head down the stairs towards the dining room where already he could hear people chatting and having a good time. What time was it? It seemed he had slept in again.
