"Well, I'm sure if you want to complete highschool and further, we can help you here." Nate responded. "Seriously, this place offers SO many services to those that the general world at large doesn't know about." he told her.
"I don't know if you've ever heard of us, but we call ourselves The Unit." he went on.
"While we are a shadow branch of the US government, we are also part of a larger network of organisations that do similar things." he told her further, before pausing and thinking about it.
"...you're from Europe... so... hmmm..." he mumbled.
"You may have heard of... oh what is it called...?" he wondered, snapping his fingers in an attempt to jump-start his memory.
"The Dusk Watchers or something, I think." he then said.
"We're the North American version of THEM."

"I get it." Nate said.
"I... well, I suppose I'm privileged in that regard. Biggest worry I've ever had was making a class in time, while wondering what I could afford for groceries that week." he chuckled, before pausing.
"...ok, that didn't exactly make me SOUND privileged, but... well, it's a perspective thing." he quickly clarified.
"Anyway, with luck, the ones that were abusing you will soon be taken down." he told her. "Agent Sharp's been working all night to make sure things start happening ASAP." he continued.
"And from what I've heard, you were very lucky to have Dr. Calder as a client. He's the reason you're HERE." he then added.

"As far as I can recall, I've always had it." Nate responded. "The fact that I have this ability is what spurred me on to pursue a career in medicine." he then told her. "Seemed like a waste if I didn't, and medical dramas and such always fascinated me." he shrugged. "And it turned out to be the right move, I've never been happier." he chuckled.
"Worked like heck to get here, too. Doubt I'd even be here right now if not for the intervention and help of a good friend." he then said further, seemingly remembering them fondly, before clearing his throat.
"Should call her soon. Make a lunch date or something..." he mumbled.
"Anyway, yeah, what I have is kind of a rare gift." he admitted with a sheepish laugh. "I'm great at triage." he added with another laugh, before checking her over once more.
"But... mmhmm, seems you're doing just fine, considering the life you were recently forced to live." he summarised.
"And I'm sure you've been told this before, but you're perfectly safe here." he then assured her.

"I knew that, but a proper introduction is never a bad thing." Nate responded.
"Now, this isn't to say you're in perfect health." he then stressed. "I mean, you do have bruises, cuts, and we noticed some of your bones are... well, they're not broken, but cracked." he sighed.
"However, with just taking it easy, and bedrest, they should mend on their own." he went on.
"Basically, if you let yourself heal naturally, you seem to have a good long life ahead of you." he summarised, before gesturing to his eyes.
"I can see a person's quote-unquote 'life aura'." he told her.
"It's how I know that sorta thing."

"Well, that part of your life is now in your past, forever." Nate responded, as he looked her over, seemingly eyeing her up... which was a smidgen unnerving, but she was used to that life.
However, he then wrote something down on a clipboard, and nodded.
"Well, from what I can see, you're in pretty good health, overall." he told her. "Doesn't seem like there's anything that will majorly negatively impact your life, going forward." he went on.
"If all reads well, you'll be discharged to your dorm in less than an hour." he then reported.
"I'm Nate, by the way." he introduced himself.

"Very good, then." Hal responded.
"Have a good night." he told her, before leaving her alone, to ponder what might be next in her life... and realise that maybe... just maybe... she was finally safe, away from those that would harm her.
The next morning, Nate entered the room, and noticed that she was already awake. She was used to early mornings, but it was nice for her to wake up on her OWN terms, and be forcibly awoken by someone else.
"Well, good morning." Nate greeted her.
"Sleep well?" he asked.

"All right then." Hal responded, getting up.
"If that's all, I need to get this ball rolling." he told her. "Time is precious, and the sooner we act, the better." he reasoned. He had planned to take advantage of one of the people that knew what he was, and have them make him be able to transcribe and organise this in record time.
He had to. Once the ring realised that she was gone, and no longer under their command/control, they would panic. And perhaps they would escape again, lay low, and disappear. He couldn't allow that.
"When the time comes, someone will be by to escort you to your dorm." he then assured her.
"And they'll give you a tour of the place, so you know where the main places are."

Hal thought for a moment about her question.
"Hmmm." he mumbled.
"Well, if you are going to shift, then just continue to wear your I.D." he told her. "It's on a lanyard, so it'll always be visible." he said further. "It has a green border around it, which is just a colour code here to state that the wearer can change their form." he went on.
"So it'll identify you as being able to shift." he finished.
"That all right?" he asked.

Hal sighed again.
"I... I would imagine not." he said.
"That being said, just take your time now." he told her. "Rest up, recuperate, and make sure you're doing all right." he said further. "What matters now is that you bounce back from this." he assured her.
"You've escaped that life, there is NO need to go back to it in any way shape or form." he insisted.
"Anyway, thank you for your help in this." he told her further.
"I'll contact you if I have any more questions."

Hal was silent again for a moment, before nodding slowly.
"Indeed." he said. "The life that you had been living was... well, it was no way to live." he told her. "These people are some of the most wanted and dangerous traffickers in the world, and the entire network of people like us have been trying SO hard to take them down." he went on. "But they've always managed to cover their asses, or undercover agents that are sent in... which volunteer, mind you... always disappear." he lamented.
"We don't know how, but they've always seemed... untouchable." he said further.
"...until NOW." he then said.
"Miss Sabrina, this information may very well be the first domino needed to start the effect that topples them." he told her. "So thank you. You've done a tremendous service." he continued.
He then paused for a moment, thinking about something.
"You also mentioned you're Scottish." he commented.
"Do you have anywhere to go, or any plans with/for your life now?" he asked her.

Hal just placed a hand on her shoulder.
"No worries." he stated.
"I'll have this transcribed faster than anyone else." he chuckled confidently.
"For now, thank you. It couldn't have been easy to say all that, to relive those experiences." he went on. "But just know that you are safe here." he assured her further.
"And we have an on-site therapist to help if you need that sort of assistance."

"It did cross my mind to have you try and infiltrate them." Hal admitted. "But, with this new information, that particular plan of action is DEFINITELY off the table." he stated. "Not I would have you go back against your will, anyway..." he then mumbled.
When she asked how to give the information, he raised a finger and pulled out a small electronic device.
"Vocally may work better." he said.
"We'll record anything and everything you can remember right now, and if you think of anything you may have missed later, then write it down." he said further.
"I'll transcribe this and organise it."

Hal let her say her piece, before nodding, and looking her in the eyes.
"I know it's going to be hard, but I need you tell me EVERYTHING you know about them." he told her. "And I mean that. Everything." he stressed. "Known members, past crimes you've seen committed, known bases and such..." he listed off, trailing off at the end for a moment.
"They've been operating for FAR too long." he said.
"And they need to be dissolved. Destroyed. NOW." he stated further.
"You may very well be what we need to finally take them down. Find them, and cripple them."

Hal watched Rose leave, before looking back towards Sabrina, and waving in return.
"Hello there." he greeted her, making his way into the room and sitting down in the chair that was beside her bed. He looked her over, before shaking his head slightly, and sighing.
"Well, from what I've been told, you've been freed from that cursed mana lock." he commented. "Which is good, because that thing was a literal death sentence, as I'm sure you were well aware." he said further.
"I've come here to tell you that you've been granted a dorm here, as well as an I.D. that allows you to utilise most of the facilities here, for example, our cafeteria." he informed her.
"And also... I was wondering if I could ask you some questions." he went on, before pausing.
"Specifically, about those that you were... 'working' for."
