Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo nodded in response and got comfortable, before 'disappearing', closing his eyes and going limp.

He was gone for only about a minute, before his eyes popped open, and he sat up with a jolt.

"AH!" he yelled out, pausing again.

"...no, no, no, no, no..." he murmured, shaking his head.

"No, that can't be true. This CAN'T be real..."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo set his tea down and looked at her.

"I'm sorry you went through what you went through." he said.

"But I promise I'll go and tell Hollie." he told her.

"This shouldn't take AS long, so I'll do it right here." he then reasoned.

"Maybe about... a minute or two?" he guessed.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo sighed. Heavily.

"No. I don't know what could do such a thing." he admitted.

"I'll try and find out." he told her.

He then paused again, and thought about it, seemingly doing some calculations in his mind.

"...Hollie SHOULD be asleep by now. It's late enough there." he reasoned.

"I can do that right now, if you don't mind my body remaining here for a little longer."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo just nodded.

"I do." he responded.

"...their souls." he then said. "They're not all there." he revealed.

"Pieces are missing." he told her further.

"Their souls are incomplete, Rocky." he stressed. "And that is not good."

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo made his way back to the den and sat down, as Rocky returned with the blend. He accepted it and held it in his hands for a moment, before taking a sip. And then another. And then another.

Overall, it took about 2-3 minutes before he started to visibly calm, the tea was THAT effective.

"...okay." he said.

He then looked at Rocky, and sighed.

"I... their dreams are... well... they're broken." he told her.

"They're not whole. It's like parts of a film reel that are cut out."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"...tea." Leo responded.

"Something that calms nerves." he told her.

"Seriously, I am... kinda shaking right now." he said further, as he slowly, methodically, got off the bed.

Rocky hadn't seen him so rattled before, and it was... disconcerting.

Whatever he'd seen, it had shaken him to his core.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo looked over towards her, and she saw shock and horror in his expression.

"...I..." he stammered.

"I am unharmed." he told her, choosing his words carefully.

"Am I ok? I don't... no. No, I don't think ANYONE is 'ok' right now." he said further.

He then realised he was probably speaking in riddles, and shook his head.

"Let me just get my head on straight, and I'll tell you what I saw."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo scratched his chin a little, and nodded.

"Yeah, that might be better." he said. "Can at least seem like I'm asleep." he reasoned.

He then got up, excused himself, and made his way into the room, laying down on the bed and prepping... before he seemed to 'fall asleep', and looked to be completely motionless now.

Rocky took this opportunity to make herself a drink, and about 5 minutes later, as she was sitting back in the couch, she heard Leo from the bedroom.

"AH!" he yelled, as though he had awoken from a nightmare.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo nodded.

"I understand." he responded.

He then thought again, pondering his plan, and then sighed.

"Is it all right if I leave my... uh, well... body, here?" he asked.

"It'll be a shell that just sits here looking empty and such. That okay?" he asked further.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"...that IS concerning." Leo responded.

He then thought for a moment, pondering what he could do.

"Well... I can make my way there and... er... well, 'encourage' them to nap." he told her.

"And then see if I can get any info from the dreams they have."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo confirmed the address and Rocky told him to just mana into the living room, before they ended the call.

About 45 seconds later, Leo appeared in the middle of the room, just off to the side of the table in said room.

He looked around and located Rocky on the couch there, before going and sitting down beside her.

"Is it that bad?" he asked.

"You fear for people's general safety?"

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Leo was silent for a moment.

"Yeah, sure." he said.

"It'll be better if I'm there. That way when I find information, I can relay it to you directly." he told her.

"Where are you right now?" he asked.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

The phone rang. And rang. And rang. Until it went to voicemail.

This caused her to curse, as she hung up, and tried again. And again. Until she got fed up and called Nakia.

Nakia answered, and when Rocky said she needed to talk to Leo immediately, Nakia got the number she was calling for, and promised a call soon.

Sure enough, 2 minutes later, the phone rang and she answered.

"Sorry." Leo apologised. "What's going on?" he asked.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Vincent just grumbled and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Yes, I will talk to the stressed-out woman and tell her she's stressed-out." he said. "I cannot possibly think of a way this could backfire." he went on, before getting up from the chair and walking past her.

"I'm not doing it without preparing myself first." he warned.

"So. I am going to the kitchen to quaff a little bit of courage." he informed her.

"If I'm going to make a mountain out of a molehill, might as well see if I can't blame some drink." he shrugged.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.
