AJ and Vito nodded, before the three of them disappeared from where they were, appearing at the security gate where Jake was.

"Woah." he muttered.

"This looks serious." he said, checking everyone's mana.

"...right..." he then mumbled, looking at the 3 from the craft.

"I'm guessing at least 2 of them need medical attention?" he asked.

"I'll stay behind as well." Tyson said.

"At the very least, have a Unit representative here as well." he reasoned.

"I'll help cart the people to the Unit." AJ offered. "I'll then report to Dani about all this." he said further.

"And I'll help as well, before informing Miss Remmington about this." Vito commented.

"Right." Ty said.

"So she and I will be staying back." he said further, gesturing to Vyn. "And the rest of you will head back to the Unit." he went on.

"Aedan, be sure to tell Sharp about what happened here as well." he then told the zombie.

"Well, the safest and most secure place for them would probably be the medical wing of the Unit." Tyson replied. "They can get the medical treatment they need, and if they're hostile, we're well equipped to defend ourselves and contain them." he reasoned.

"I can't argue with that." AJ said.

"....right." Tyson then said, before taking out his cell phone and calling someone.

"Hal, it's Ty." he said when the phone was answered.

"We need securing team T here, as well as an S-rank cleanup team. ASAP. As in, NOW." he told him. A bit of conversation later, he hung up the phone.

"Their craft will be taken to the Unit for examination/containment, and this site will be cleaned up and normalised." he told them further.

"Ok, good." Vito muttered in response.

"How do you want to get back to the Unit?" he then asked the agents.

Tyson just sighed as Aedan slid back down to the craft.

"....taste the dead dude?" Vito asked.

"She's a zombie." Tyson told him. "She gets a taste of someone, she learns what they knew for a brief period." he said.

"That's... kinda morbid." Vito then said.

"It's VERY morbid." Tyson corrected him. "But sometimes it's all we have." he said further.

"Yep." AJ interjected.

"At this point, we can't really argue over methods, when the result is debatably all that matters." he reasoned.

"..." Aly was silent as Eke concluded his playing.

'That was... different.' she thought.

'Still beautiful, but... different...' she went on.

She then proceeded to softly clap.

"That was certainly impassioned." she told him.

"......." there was silence from all of them, before Tyson sighed.

"While the last option has a number of risks, it's probably the one that has the LEAST amount of risks." he said.

"Far be it for me to suggest defiling the dead, but randomly pushing buttons and pulling levers could result in something catastrophic." he reasoned further.

"....do what you gotta do." Vito replied.

"Indeed." AJ said. "This scene needs to be cleaned up post-haste. Vyn and I have already turned away people trying to come in and peer at this thing."

"Hmmm." Vito muttered, as they saw Ty following, carrying the other survivor in his arms.

"Right, one more left. And they're... well..." he started to say.

"-dead, yes, we were told." Vito finished.

"Right." Tyson muttered.

"What do we do with them?" Vito then asked.

"That... DOES make sense." AJ admitted, having heard that.

"What about the craft?" he asked. "Is there any way we can get close to it to try and examine it?" he asked further.

"Not while the barrier is still active." Tyson informed him.

"...there any way TO deactivate it?" AJ then asked.

"That's true..." Tyson muttered.

"Hmmmm." he mumbled further.

"Well, we'll see if any of them are labelled as such." he told her.

"But let's get these 2 survivors free of their safety belts." he then suggested.

"I'd wager they need serious medical treatment."

"....eesh." Ty muttered.

"Yeah, seems so." he agreed.

"Poor fella." he muttered.

He then looked at the other two that were seated, before looking at the control panel.

"Hey, I'll bet one of these buttons controls the barrier field surrounding this thing." he told her.

Ty shook his head.

"Not really." he replied.

"I just know the air around here feels more... oppressive... in a way." he then said.

"That might be related." he shrugged.

"Anyway, let's see what we can find out." he told her.

"We need to find a way to get into this thing, and check for survivors." he told her further, before starting to check over the spacecraft.

Vito just rolled his eyes.

"Yuh-huh." he said.

Meanwhile, Ty had joined Aedan, but his sliding down the crater wasn't nearly as graceful. It was competent, and he was keeping his balance, but it was nowhere near as nice as the zombie's.

"Wow." he said as they got closer.

"This thing looks... unlike anything else I've seen before." he commented.

"I'd swear it was some kind of escape pod or something..."

"Nope." Ty responded.

"What I can do is pretty much irreversibly carved into my DNA." he told her.

"Good." AJ said.

"Whatever's down there is projecting a field-like barrier that locks down and suppresses mana to the point of it being dangerous." he told them.

"So you want us to go down there and investigate." Ty said.

"Ah-yup." AJ confirmed.

"There's a craft down there, and if there are people inside it, they might need help." he told them. "But we can't do it, as the 'barrier' pretty much limits the time we can spend down there, and puts us in potentially serious danger." he finished.

Ty placed his hand on Vito's other shoulder, and nodded.

"Let's go." he said.

Vito paused for a moment, glancing at Aedan, before nodding in response.

"Away we go." he told them, before they all disappeared in a burst of mana that seemed to have sand laced throughout it.

A few seconds later, they appeared at the edge of the impact crater.

"Holy crap." Vito said, upon seeing it.

"Wow." was all Tyson could get out.

Aly sighed as Eke went upstairs.

"Hm." she mumbled.

"All I can do is trust him." she said, before hearing him play.

She smiled as she made her way towards him, stopping at the door to the room with the piano in it.

Once she was there, she merely listened to the melody, her smile growing.

'So lovely...' she thought dreamily.
