"Then I am going to teleport directly into the medical wing." Leo responded.

"I'll be there in 5 minutes." he told her.

"Is there anyplace safe for me to land?" he asked.

"Angela's office. She's not in." Hollie responded.

"Then I will be there, specifically, in 5." Leo reiterated, before saying goodbye and ending the call.

".....what is it?" Leo then asked.

"It's like a memory stick." Hollie replied.

"...well, I have a portable rig that I can set up on location." Leo then replied.

"But where is the safest area there?" he asked.

"Is there literally ANY place there that hasn't been infected by whatever it is?" he asked further.

"Or do I need to accept that I'll be under the quarantine until it's solved?" he then inquired.

After a bit of silence, she received a call from Leo.

"Hey." he said when she answered.

"What sort of tech work are we looking at here?" he asked.

"Because I can put up a special bubble around myself... but it doesn't last long when it's being attacked directly." he told her.

"But do I need to go IN there, or can whatever I need to look at leave the Unit?" he then asked.

Emerald was silent as the exchange happened, before thinking about it.

"Really?" he asked.

"Wow. He must be good to work with other-dimension tech." he said.

Yeah, sure. Hollie got in response.

It'll have to be at the front door. I'll need someone to meet me there, and we can go from there. the next text read.

When? a third asked.

"Hmmmm." Emerald muttered.

"Damn." he said.

"Miss Hollie!" he then called to Hollie.

"We've got something that might help with the situation." he told her.

"But we need someone that's good at tech to look at it, maybe fix it if it needs fixing."

"Vi?" Emerald asked when he saw his sister.

"Uh... probably the same thing YOU'RE doing." he said.

"This place is under lockdown, and I'm checking to see if there's any answers here." he explained.

"Did YOU find any?" he asked.

"I was trying to get into the pod to see if there were any clues or anything."

Let's... let's just get this more into the public eye. It's all I can do to help.

Emerald looked over towards her, and then nodded.

"Right." he said.

With that, the two of them set to work, with Emerald heading right to the shuttle and looking at it.

"....all right..." he mumbled.

"Control panel..." he muttered further, searching for it.

"Got it! Now... what was the code, again...?" he wondered aloud when he'd found it.

"It's nice to meet you, too." Emerald replied.

"...I wish it could be under better circumstances, though..." he then mumbled.

The two of them then made their way to R&D, and started to make their way back towards the storage area.

"It should be back here somewhere." Emerald commented.

"I just need to remember which sector it's in..."

"........." the male was silent, before nodding.

"Right." he said.

With that, the two of them left, and on the way back to R&D storage, he paused for a second.

"I..." he stammered.

"I don't think we've met." he said.

"I'm Emerald." he introduced himself.

Ryker raised an eyebrow.

"Tired?" he asked.

"Did you have a busy day?" he asked further.

"...not overly..." Aly responded as she got closer.

"Unless the cooking and baking took more out of him than it should." she commented further.

"How tired are you, Eke?" she then asked him.

"....I... I don't know." he replied.

He then paused for a moment, as something came to him.

"The ship we came in on!" he said.

"There might be some data left in its memory banks." he told her.

"Maybe. I don't know how much survived." he admitted.

"But it might have some information that can help." he continued.

"Admittedly, I don't know too much about it, as my sibling and I were off the planet at the time it got REALLY bad and spread like wildfire." he then told her.

The male was silent, before sighing.

"I..." he stammered.

"Well... admittedly, I'm feeling off." he said.

"But... well... that's because I'm a being of minimalistic mana." he told her. "I barely have any at all." he continued.

"And this... what's happening here... seems to be born of my world." he went on.

"It's something from my home dimension."

As Hollie made her way through the building, she saw that many people were heading towards the Medical Wing, some looking better than others, and some looking quite dreadful.

However, she noticed that those that were naturally human seemed to be doing better than those who were a magical creature of sorts... which made sense, mana was stronger in them than in humans.

Then she saw Rylie being carried to the medical wing by someone she had no idea who they were.

"Come on." he said to her.

"Need to get you to the medical wing..."
