@Mica: I generally just make artist friends on most sites because I generally stalk the art shops and suck up to my favorite artists. XD

Bahaha, I may just have a character or two...

@mica: I haven't actually gotten character art in ages, but once I get my major quest items caught back up on here, I can save up for some! I do love seeing how different artists can make such different art of the same character.
I actually have a super great art of a couple of my characters that I should right more on. The artist truly captured the one character's personality quirk perfectly. Actually, I used to have a lot of artist friends on Gaia, but I lost touch with all of them, sadly.

@mica: Imean honestly don't know for sure. Maybe 50 or more, but only have good art of like...15-20 of them probably. I mean, I used to dabble at writing several years ago...but really, probably half my characters have never really been used for much. I just get struck with inspiration and poof, another character.
Sometimes, if I'm feeling really depressed, I type out mock conversations between myself and my favorite character. It makes me feel more centered and better, but also makes me a little sad that they aren't a real person.

@mica: It's funny because I always see really good art and it makes me super jealous for a short time because I'm not so good with art, but I have so many characters I want art of. :vanora_xd:
Guess I just have to buy all the arts! (Because I don't actually have the drive and patience to get good at art.)

@mica: I actually have a friend who makes some super amazing art. Every once in a while, they'll text me their latest art and I am always super impressed. And then they go "oh, it's just a doodle".

@mica: I feel like I haven't actually followed any artists in ages. I'm missing out on so much art!

@mica: Haha, I almost always have some project or other going on.
This is the last progress pic I took. I'm working on the second half of the tail fin now, then it's done.

@mica: Lol. No worries. It gave me time to...do nothing until right now when I decided to wind more yarn for my mermaid blanket. I'm almost done, but am gonna need like 1/4 of a skein more to finish it.

@Mica: Ooh, another good brand for at least holo is Indigo Bananas. They have a color called Indigo Montoya, which one of my friends sent me for my birthday and I love it for the name alone, but the color is pretty too.
