@VISU: My first few jobs I was too timid to demand they pay for gas or things like that.
But it's not acceptable to be treating employees badly, you have to stand up for yourself!
I hope you find a job that treats you well!

@VISU: I was lucky my parents too a lot of time to find a good school system to move into for us.
They really looked hard to find the best schools to send us to.
If you search online for best cities with public schools, it’s on all the lists now.
30 years ago they were kinda guessing though. XD

As I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten more demanding at work.
When I moved out and got my own place I demanded a consistent schedule and minimum hours a week because I’m almost an hour drive each way now.
And when I reached 10 years there I’m said I needed a bigger raise to stay because my experience made me worth more.

@Unicorn: I hate leaving a conversation! I need to bookmark it!

@eerie: for me, it depends how much time I have.
If I’m popping online quickly, I just check bookmarks.
If I have more time I go out exploring after my bookmarks are checked.

@LupaPrinceRomulus: I like MMOs but I never got into the .hack series.
The whole idea of someone being stuck in the game just never got my attention.

I used to watch anime on tv sometimes before bed in high school.
But I didn’t see very many episodes.

It’s so weird the differences even between siblings!

I don’t mind being the oldest at the store. I’m trusted to do more than anyone else. ^^
