My favorite type of books I've decided, are teen coloring books. They aren't easy to find, but I found some great ones on Amazon. I like adult coloring books, but sometimes the spaces are too small and it becomes tedious to color. There are some good adult ones, but teen ones are also fun shapes! XD
I like to color with Sharpies best. Markers are just one of my favorite medias, and sharpies dry slow enough that if you color right you can get it streak free, and it' a smooth solid color. I have a lot of other markers though, including Zebra Midliners (from Japan) that are streaky but somehow I love the way it looks at the end. And Tombow has a line of watercolor markers the blend pretty well and look kinda watercolory. They aren't the best markers for looking like watercolor, but they don't tend to destroy the paper of an ordinary coloring book, which more watery markers can.
I also have colored pencils, and crayons. (Including glitter crayons) but I just don't use them as much.

I love to color in coloring books! It's one of my top hobbies. So I'm curious if anyone else does.
Do you color? What kind of books do you like? What media do you color with? etc...?

@Anarchist Beauty: Thanks! I'm not getting enough art orders, so I'm doing freebies. XD
Actually, I might draw my new OC, it's only a sketch right now. It's really like an outfit idea more than a character at this point, I don't have a name or personality or anything yet. >.<

I finally got my book in the mail! Author copies aren't sent with amazon 1 day shipping, it's sent the old school way. So it took weeks. During which I was panicking because people were buying the book and I haven't seen it yet! /flail

@MoodyBats: well just save it for now then. Maybe get a scrapbook or something fornart you’re really proud of. Something you can look back at sometimes.
Yeah, I totally understand. It’s really important to keep occupied when you have depression. Need to keep your mind busy.

@Boss Rimi: I never did well in school because I didn’t do the homework. I passed my classes, but not with good grades. I just hate homework sooo much. Cry
I drew this for you
@Anarchist Beauty: I got distracted and still know nothing about my pumpkins. This is why I can’t have plants. >.<

@MoodyBats: you can frame it when it’s done even if it’s not a print. You should definitely display art you’re proud of!
I get on my own head a lot. I try to keep my mind occupied with other things, like stories. Especially before bed, or I won’t be able to sleep.

@MoodyBats: I just got a book of Edgar Allan Poe recently, so I know what you mean about reading something that gets you in a creepy vibe. It’s the perfect time of year for it though!
Any time of year there’s a chance for good and bad things. It’s a good idea to try and make something good to overshadow anything bad that might come up. Make your own happiness, kinda.

@Usagi: there are worse things to be addicted to. Maybe it’s best not to have any addictions, but oh well.
I actually have depression so chocolate really helps. ^^

@MoodyBats: that sounds like it should have a creepy vibe! I love characters with eyeball jars. XD
December is always a nightmare at work since I work retail. So I probably won’t do much of anything except work. >.<

@MoodyBats: I think I want to make November about writing. Try to do some short stories and writing prompts. I don’t want to go too long without writing.
Shouldn’t it be creepy?

@MoodyBats: I feel bad that I’m not as active on here as I’d like to be. >.<
I’ve only done 1 day of inktober. So, I failed this year.

@Usagi: uh, no. Not for me at least. Daily I have hot cocoa or mochas at least 2 time, sometimes as many as 5. And nightly I have ice cream, or cookies, or brownies, or something chocolate after dinner. It really is too important to me! XD
