@MoodyBats: that is so true!! My roommate is writing a comic and it took him a long time to find an artist to work with. Every different media is very specialized.
If I had the money to get started I would love to have a pottery studio. Making ceramics is easily my favorite thing in the whole world to do. But the start up cost is so high!

@MoodyBats: shading is a whole huge thing to learn on its own. You’re amazing to be working so hard on your art! It’s s lot of work to study.

@Anarchist Beauty: ug, that’s just like my dad. He doesn’t understand that cheapest isn’t always best. Some things are more expensive for a reason. I always have to buy my own art stuff.

@MoodyBats: it’s definitely worth it if that’s the style of art you like. My favorite art is highly stylized kinds. I don’t really have a style of my own, my art is all pretty generic looking.
