@Night XIV: Muahahahaha! I win!

Not to mention the fires in that part of the country ... The area he is in right now was ravaged by a fire recently. The trees are just blackened husks, etc. He said it looks super creepy.

@Unicorn: He actually bought an RV, and just sort of ... drives around the country. He picks a spot, stays for a couple of weeks, then he picks another spot and drives until he gets there. He seems to be enjoying it.

@Unicorn: I actually prefer the cold, to be honest. It's fun to tease people in warmer climates about it though, haha. My father is spending Christmas in souther California, right near the border of Mexico ... He keeps sending me pictures of pina coladas beside a pool! I'm a bigger girl, though, and with my diabetes, I get overheated SO EASILY ... Even in winter! So i'll take the colder temperatures any day <3

*crashes in uninvited*

@Unicorn: I am officially jealous that it's so warm where you are! It's around 15 degrees here where I live. I wish I could stay in bed all day, wrapped up in warm blankets. Instead, I have to go to work soon :(

*pokes head in, glances around suspiciously*

@Apollo Im Burning: It wasn't too bad. I have two more times I can call out, until January 23rd. But I might have been able to change my work schedule to something I can work without feeling like I'm dying by the end of 5 days in a row, so that's a plus!

@Apollo Im Burning: Trust me, so am I! But the point is, cats are evil. They are also adorable, cute, cuddly, and my cat is totally my child . My evil, insane, chaotic child.

@Apollo Im Burning: Same here, trust me. I'm hoping she'll just tell me to be careful, since I only have 2 or 2.5 occurrences left, but I'm worried she'll go into lecture mode.

Cats are evil. I know. My cat recently peed in the clean laundry basket. I have a cold. I didn't notice the smell. My coworkers had to tell me at work, and I missed a full day at work because of it. When my supervisor finds out about it on Tuesday - when she gets back to work - she is NOT going to be happy. This means I have missed 6 and a half days of work in the past month and a half. NOT GOOD. We can only miss 9 in a 90 day period, before we are fired.

@Q t e a p o n: I'm using the 'Winter' theme right now, but my favorite is probably the 'Shadowed Cirque' theme. I'm enjoying the 'Winter' theme for now, though :)

The only annoying thing is, that the text area changes color, so those people with colored text - their posts are almost impossible to read, if they designed their posts with the theme -they- are using in mind. So that's kind of sucky.

Otherwise, though, the ability to choose and change your theme as you see fit is pretty awesome :)

I hate how often I come in to these things partway through ... I really do need to get a dedicated internet connection at my house :(
