I've been working on a story for years now, but never been able to start it off properly. I have all the main characters and plot events in line, but I haven't quite been able to get it down on paper.
That is, until yesterday. I finally managed to write two chapters, and it didn't feel forced at all. I think I finally got rid of that nasty writer's block!

Also managed to get a poem out of the system.

What do you guys do to get rid of writer's block?

I mostly work, and when I don't work, I hang out with the roommates or chat online or play games.
My roommate just finished Assasin's Creed 3 and said I could play it n his xbox if I make a new game, and I've been wanting to play it for ages

Sunscreen and sunhats.
Babies have skin that burns easily. But getting them used to being out in the sun is a good thing, as long as they don't learn that the sun hurts.
I think they even have baby sunglasses some places

I would love it if someone could create a topic with basic how to's for noobs like me.
Character creation, backstory creation, worldbuilding, how to keep an RP interesting and flowing, etc.

Is easy when the average client income is less than 2 an hour, and an average case handling time of 8 minutes.
Lots of time to smoke and browse forums and such.

I though it would be deadly boring, but I'm managing quite well. I just miss having the routine of getting up, getting dressed, having coffee and going in the metro.
I still do those things minus the metro, but I'm slowly starting to develop a litte cabin fever.


How are you guys managing?
Are you working from home? What job do you do?

If I have to stay PG then, hmm... It must have been the video of the guy who hollowed out a squash and proceeded to play "All star" by Smashmouth on it

Sometimes song lyrics hit me on a personal level and I feel I relate to them in a special way.

And for some reason, if I talk to someone with poor english skills, my skills suffer for hours.

I used to work in daycare where the children would often get words wrong, so as a result, it meltet into my language.
To this day, I still can't say spaghetti. I keep saying pasketti.

What words or phrases do you keep getting wrong?
