Yes it is sought after, and mistake I made. It didn't originate in canada, but it has had more luck growing in canada.
It actually started in Michigan :O

Millet, spilling the tea: We have a patient at work whose job is to travel to farms across the US and write reviews and see whats in new development.
And reporting it back to the department of agriculture (I believe?)
ANYWHO
He came back and brought us basket of apples that are considered rare in the united states.
(I guess in the US only 16 trees have successfully produced them? and they are spread out over 8 random locations
in the US? haha.) They are more frequent in Canada (where they originated) and thrive better in cold seasons!
It's called the Pazzazz apple. People call it "The new honey crisp with sour notes"
honestly, it legit tastes like champagne to me! The couple I have sampled so far are far crisperier than a honey crisp too!
Which I didn't really conceive as a pleasant possibility!
