Well the buttons come pre-mapped to certain keyboard keys. So then I use Clip Studio Paint on the iPad which lets you set keyboard shortcuts so it’ll map the keyboard key that the game controller has to a shortcut in that software.

I have it velcro’d to my ipad case on the back. So if I hold the iPad I actually have my hand wrapped around the controller too and can click the buttons that way.

As a little keypad because I used to do digital art on a wacom digitizer that had the buttons on the side but I have an iPad now that does not and this little buddy which I have velcro’d to my ipad case gives me some easy-access shortcut buttons so I don’t have to lug a keyboard around.
