i have no inbetween

@Wildfire: tbh there is such a thing as over working a piece which i tend to do lol

@Wildfire: yup but i dont want to spend too much time on only one study.

@Wildfire: Yup very true. but im going to try to take less than 3 months to finish 1 portrait.
since even tho this one has taken me a while i have learned quite a lot.
as long as im learning it is a good study. and it doesn't need to be identical to the study
since studies are to learn not to copy.

I began playing it recently and i absolutely love it.
the art style is so cute.
i wasn't sure about it at first since i usually play games with character creation in it.

But i really enjoy playing it.

@Wildfire: I've only done one study so far so i feel i need to still practice painting portraits.
but i want to choose one with different lighting.
so i guess it would be a lighting study that i will be focusing on.
Tho i want to choose a portrait that has clothing as the portrait i chose cuts off around the collar bone
so you can't tell if she has clothing on.

so i need to practice ones with clothing so i can improve how to do folds/clothing.

@Wildfire: true. im not too good at painting so everything feels new
but also exciting too.
so im looking forward to learning new things.

@Wildfire: Definitely! i will finish the current one first.
tho may end up watching some tutorials for the hair since i am not even sure how to go about it. XD
hair is the hardest part which is funny cause usually it's skin that's hard.

@Wildfire: I think i started it sometime in december. So im a little behind.
tho whenever i get close to finishing studies is start picking out a new one for the next study.

@Wildfire: Yeah i think that will be best.
i'll probably post a story of going on hiatus and then just focus on my art.

i found a bunch of new poses and portraits to study.
so im very excited to work on them. but after i finish the current one since she is so close to being finished.
maybe 80% complete. i just need to finish painting her nose, lips and neck and then work on the hair.

@Wildfire: I don't really have a connection with social media anyways.
idk why a bigger artist than me[has 5k followers and i have 19] is even following me at this point lol.
but i have no real connection or much of an audience so im sure they won't really notice which helps me disappear from social media easier.

cause right now the only art piece i like is a study because i've worked hard on it and it doesn't look bad.
and i want to keep improving at it so then when i return and apply these things to my art, it'll look...so much better.
as i want to paint semi realistically. so that may be why i don't like my current work as i do flat art. flat art isn't bad but...it's not
what i enjoy to create.

@Wildfire: Unfortunately no. i think it all comes down to massively improving my work.
so may just take a few weeks or months off from posting
and just study my rump off and play games
cause im not sure what else to do.
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

@Wildfire: yeah. and with social media tbh..it's just been really hard cause it just feels like
my art isn't going to go anywhere.
i know numbers are not everything but they are a little important.
so i think that's just been really hard for me lately. probably why im playing so many games lately.

yeah that is understandable. responsibilities won't do themselves unfortunately.
