@Wildfire: im doing alright.
not really doing much of anything today.

how about you?
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

good afternoon all.

@Wildfire: hopeully. but i doubt i can afford one anytime soon without a job.
might just have to buy something temporary.
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

@Wildfire: Okay then.
i only trust HP since they were the best out of the few different brands we tried.
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

@Wildfire: Yeah Acer is fine. but ASUS is by far the worst...brand.
customer service is absolutely terrible too.
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

@Wildfire: only thing i plan to do is completely replace it because
that's only one of many issues asus has.
which it interferes in my digital artwork because the colors are so gray/blue that
when i send it to myself on my phone to post on IG the colors are COMPLETELY different.

i'm just...never getting an asus as it's the brand i have had the most difficulty with.
as i never had these problems with my HP laptops.

@Wildfire: I do but i never use it.
the thing with this asus is, the sound is completely wired weirdly.
my sister had a laptop of the same model but the slightest touch you'd hear a pooping sound and then it would blue screen.
and it got to the point she couldn't even turn it on without it blue screening instantly.

@Wildfire: Originally i was gonna save it for a tablet.
but now i am just like "Welp...whatever i can afford."

yeah today was by far weirdest day.
opened laptop and it made skipping sound. so i had to reboot it
but then it did it again.

so now i am worried it is attempting to die on me.
and i am nowhere near even replacing a cheap replacement.

if i have to i may save up for an ipad.
but that's like...$600+ depending on the model, space, etc.
but at least i could use procreate.

cause my dream desktop is roughly...$700-900

@Wildfire: Yeah. digital is all I know XD
but i want to get better with traditional art because i want to work with design gouache or jelly gouache
one day when i can afford art supplies.

Unfortunately my headphones i do want are so expensive.
i'll have to get earphones but im hoping they won't die on me months later.
Tho getting closer to affording them since i earned about $20 since i did a commission and someone donated during a stream.
so getting there slowly.

But i may need to post an emergency commission sheet due to comp issues...again lol.

@Wildfire: I've done digitial art for over...10 years.
i did traditional art but i haven't touched it at least since i was 12 or 13.

I don't have sketchbook anxiety since it was my first supply purchase and i am excited to use it and see my improvement.
However, there isn't a lot of comfortable places for me to sit and i have such bad focus.
it would be a lot easier if i had wireless earphones cause that is one reason i don't do it.
i have to plug my music in my phone or laptop.
but because it's so big my sketchbook yanks my earphones outta my ears and that...hurts.

so i have to figure something out.
i absolutely cannot draw at my desk. sitting at my desk and doing even digital art
just...feels very uncomfortable. so idk.

and with my bad brain...if its not in front of my face i'll forget it exists.

@Wildfire: Im a digital artist. that's all i am comfortable with.
never said i wasn't going to use it. i just have a hard time sitting down to focus on drawing studies.

I bought it in order to focus on my studies and get better at studying anatomy.
I don't have new sketchbook anxiety.
i just have bad focus.

@Wildfire: yup. just need to get myself to use it eventually is my only issue.
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

@Wildfire: Nope. i fill out whole pages because i won't really learn. and 10x14 is very huge.
so there is a lot of room for more than 2-6 anatomy studies.
Moody Says. . .

▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅▅

@Wildfire: No i'm filling it up entirely.
