@Wildfire: yeah. im just trying to be consistent cause
consistently helps. and I also try to comment on others art sincerely as well
as that also helps.

But might just try to finish a bunch of art and post them
so when the censorship is gone people can find my stuff.
Just gotta keep going with it and work on my craft too and not worry too much.

have a good lunch? or dinner? whichever time it is for you lol

@Wildfire: Yeah, if IG did not change it every month or so i'm sure
i'd have an easier time. and if we were not in a pandemic too.

IG right now is just a pain to post to because even if i post at the right times
they're still hiding new posts because of the election.
but IG is the only platform i have an okay following.

@Wildfire: For me I am trying to run a creative business as it's the only job i can actually work.
Especially with all my mental illness issues i can't work a normal job. And i can't drive and i don't want to risk anyone
getting COVID.

So it's very hard because you're not only a freelance artist, but you also are marketing yourself too and essentially also you're an entrepreneur
so it's a lot of juggling and working to better your craft too and also battling burnout and it's a lot of stress lmao.
But daydreaming about one day when i can sell merch makes me happy and makes it all worth it.

I've only gotten commissioned once this whole year
and that was my close art friend.
So it's not easy at all to say the least. Especially with Social media changing all the time.
So i'm mostly trying to study, to improve and learn to market myself better.

@Wildfire: Unfortunately, if you run a small business through your art
you have to adapt to social media and their changes.
Because some go paycheck by paycheck, and losing followers also means losing sales
which is hard if you dont or can't work a 9-5 job.

@Wildfire: If you mean in the industry, i don't often see them do personal work hardly
since they usually have a lot to do for the field they work in. like if their comic artists.

They could do that stuff but don't really post it though.
Sometimes how social media works is if you post something out of the ordinary you lose followers.
so there's that.

@Wildfire: not sure what you mean by professional artists.
But i see many people redraw their stuff here and there.

I love redrawing but i rarely do it because i always have a million projects going. :vanora_sweat:
I mostly just want to see how much I've improved.

@Wildfire: Yeah. Just seeing my old work and then envisioning
how I can upgrade it always brings me such joy as a lot of the pieces i uploaded to my online shop
are from late 2019 to early 2020.
and I've done and learned a lot from then.

@Wildfire: Yeah feeling rather rough today.
But feeling pretty inspired to redraw some of my old art pieces.
so might try to redraw them in 2021.
