@Tsundererra: it was quiet. It was exhausting. It was fun. The girls were thankful for the couple things they got that weren't clothes.
Alot of it was stressful. Turkey didn't finish cooking until after dinner. But I washed dishes while the boys played games so my mother in law didn't have to.
