Ah, religion. One of the touchiest subjects known to mankind...

I personally identify as Christian, and contrary to popular belief, true Christianity is not an organised religion but rather a relationship with God. (When I say true Christianity, I mean actually living by the teachings of Christ, not just going to church on Sundays and following some "rules"). I'm not the best, I still make mistakes, I judge people out of habit and I lose my temper or other things like that. But I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe that he is here with me when I need him.

In truth, I think most religions are inspired by the same thing and hold the same kind of validity. If Islam/Judaism/Christianity all spawned from the same God, who's to say the others didn't either? But truthfully it's absolutely detestable that people use their religion as an excuse to justify horrendous things, like The Crusades and The Holocaust. In that regard it's one of man's worst creations.

Also, for those of you who are on the fence, or are not sure whether or not you believe in God, the term for that is agnostic. c:

@AelloTyphoeus: Certainly! ^-^ I'm doing alright, actually just woke up a little bit ago. Slept like junk, though, and had to wake up like 4 times to adjust the thermostat since, for whatever reason, the air never kicks on at night. q-q
How're you? c:

@Burial: Hmmm it won't let me check right now but I'll have to remember that, thanks for the tip! ^-^

Yes, booting up D2 for the first time is going to be so exciting. Bungie says there's a lot more story and whatnot and based upon the beta I'm certainly excited to see what happens and how everything unfolds! I'm kind of disappointed that they just kicked the first game to the curb like they did, though. :c

Definitely getting D2 on release, if I can afford it. Are you? xD I pre-ordered it so hopefully I don't end up having to pay the late fee AND having to wait to play lol. What I'm not sure about is whether GameStop is having a midnight premiere, but I think it's in the mall here so probably not... o:

Not actually listening to anything, but I've got Band on the Run stuck in my head playing over and over on repeat, so I might as well be listening to it. xD

@Burial: Yess, fellow day-1-er! That first boot-up of the game was so exciting though, wasn't it? I remember getting goosebumps from the music. cB Still do sometimes. Do you play on PS3 or PS4? o:

Also a hunter main, though I'm slowly leveling up a titan. I love the flourish and agility of the hunters, but I'm such a Leroy Jenkins that titan is more realistic to my play style. xD

That's a ton of time to have sunk into a game! I honestly haven't kept track and I'm ashamed to say I don't think it's anywhere near that, but I spent a long time in situations where I had no wi-fi and couldn't play q-q I can totally relate on killing the strikes, though. And then it got to the point where you knew where all the enemies were going to spawn and could breeze through the thing in like 10 minutes. xD

My friend used to come over with his console and we'd be sitting there in the living room having a 21st century LAN party. xD

@AelloTyphoeus: I don't think I'll ever get used to typing your username xD good dexterity exercise! Hello there, artificial being, and welcome to The Nostromo! Help yourself to some space tea! *sets out some freshly re-hydrated tea powder*

@dragoness129: Yes, Bill and Ted is amazing! I honestly didn't like the second movie as much, but it's still worth watching once and a while. Not only is it funny and entertaining but there are some life lessons tucked into it. Sort of. xD I really admire Keanu Reeves as a person, too.

Sorry about the inaccuracy of my Destiny 2 countdown c': I was concinved that it came out on the 9th, for some reason, and not the 6th.
Hey everyone ~
I figured it'd be cool to have a little thread to chat about Destiny, maybe share some tips, and meet other players / coordinate raids and fireteams and such. If you'd like, post with your gamertag as well as the console you play on and I'll add you to the list! When it comes to discussions, please tuck potential spoilers into spoiler tags.

It's technically 10 days by this time but for some reason putting that up feels misinforming o_o

Anyway, what's your favourite part about Destiny? How long have you been playing?
What do you spend most of your playtime doing? I was lucky enough to play the beta for both games, but I missed out on most of years 2 and 3 of Destiny q-q *sobs at all the loot I'll never obtain*

Do not add anyone on this list without first contacting them and asking their permission!

Addy - (Xbox One & PS4) - Addark

@pixiebuns: That's always my problem with packing or even cleaning. I get so sidetracked by looking at things, reading them, etc. that simple tasks often take me longer than they should. |D

Alas, I have to start getting ready for work now q-q

See you all later!~

@pixiebuns: Having some helping hands is definitely good. And my boyfriend played much the same part in my last move lol he had to keep me focused and essentially do all the heavy lifting... that's what we keep them around for, though, right? xD

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Well that's certainly efficient. I hope not too soon though. After all, the cream topping gets all... runny and thin when it hits too warm of a bagel.

All this bagel talk makes me sort of want one, but we had to move everything into the other fridge last night since ours is acting up, and that's way too far to travel for some cream cheese. q-q

@pixiebuns: Having some of it already packed up is good. I mean, in that case, you can afford to cheat a little bit. xD And making a couple trips with the trailer will still probably be a bit cheaper than renting and fueling a U-Haul, so it seems like it should be a pretty good move! Always exciting to move into a new place and get to set everything up / organise it.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: We live in towels. They're the carpet. They're the drapes. The upholstery and the linens. They're everywhere.
Plenty of room over in the guest house for all your laundry sorting needs. And plenty of storage hooks for your paddles as well.

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Allow me to BUTT INTO YOUR CONVERSATION Folding bras is easy. You just nestle one cup inside the other, then gently CRAM IT INTO YOUR OVERFLOWING AND DISHEVELED UNDERWEAR DRAWER

When you have like 300000 towels, though, and someone who sometimes likes to shower twice a day, it seems like the pile never ends... Thankfully we'll be pitching them all and getting fresh ones soon anyway. :P

@SirLionelNigelConrad: Are you brave? And perhaps of a smaller physical structure?
Posted in THE · NOSTROMO Posted 7 years ago
Open for posting! Are you a xenomorph? Or maybe just a spacefaring humanoid? All and any in between are welcome here. ^-^
@SirLionelNigelConrad: dragging you in here cause I know you're not human LOL
