hunter x hunter i would consider like a classic/og shonen similar to naruto and my hero, i think naruto was heavily influenced/inspired by hxh? i believe the whole series is free on crunchyroll last time i checked. on the longer side, and i think the 2011 remake is a little nicer?
i watched this when i was much younger but i enjoyed flcl, i think it's v stylized and dynamic in a way that someone who enjoyed bebop and champloo might appreciate. it is a little surreal but v fun from what i remember. relatively short series

good point, i try to be very careful about gachas since i know they're intentionally designed to be addicting - i read that some ppl have already spend hundreds/thousands on it so i'm like !! no spendy lol - i feel like gachas are intentionally designed to be a very slippery slope
i looked it up and it looks like you can convert primogems (that you get in-game like from chests) to wishes :0 what element is noelle?
ooh that makes me wonder how long i've been playing ... maybe a couple of hours each day? i just started on monday, i try to be good about taking breaks + not spending Too much time on it lol

for someone new to voltra i'd recommend shopping for event items on the exchange forum! :3
the event items here are soo good and you can usually find ppl selling them for a few hundred volts in the exchange, i think they're a great value ^^

is it possible to get pulls wo spending irl money? i just have the 10 you start out w (i'm assuming) and idk which banner to spend them on!
i know i can get noelle if i spend them all on the first banner but is she worth it?
i just have the base four rn and hit adventure rank 10 today :0 i just met venti at the cathedral
i'm trying not to get too sucked in though lol

oohh i see, when it's unpredictable it's hard to know how to dress for it lol
it's nice fall weather right now but not sure how long it'll last ... it's def starting to get cold though, esp if the sun doesn't come out
i had to get my big comforter out yesterday :0
mm i feel that ... i feel like when you're younger you have a lot more optimism but get more jaded after having negative experiences
ooh i think the main thing i'd like to do is travel (lmao not anytime soon though) ... i worry when i get older my body won't be able to handle traveling anymore, or i'll lose interest in experiencing different cultures
i already get a lot of pain if i walk or stand for too long which is unfortunate lol so things like major hiking trips aren't really on my list anymore
being able to backpack/walk around to explore sounds nice but i'm not sure how much of it i could really handle physically
and i think also investing in my relationships and community since it can harder to make friends in later stages of life
hbu does anything come to mind for you? ^^

aw ty yall! i was trying to see if i could get my avi to camouflage into the forest bg :0
the skull clip was so cute when i saw it i bought one in cloud immediately! i guess they'll be announcing all the new commons tmr ^^
i love the arachno ... (i forgot the name) item! i have some draft avis w it but haven't finished any of them yet... the eyes are my fav tho!
i wonder if the commons update would include the fall item contest common? :0 or maybe they haven't gotten around to it yet

@xaphiel: omg i've been playing genshin impact since we last talked!!! i just met venti and am at the cathedral w him ^^
not sure what are good characters... i def don't wanna spend any money but idk which characters to focus on leveling up :0
i haven't spent any materials leveling anyone up or upgrading weapons since idk who to invest in yet ...
woah i didn't realize u could do that :0 did you have to do anything special to set it up?
i have a mac so i think playing it on my phone will be the only option lol

i guess for somewhere like florida winter can be something to look forward to ? like it's cooler but it's not too bad, i can imagine it being a nice break from all the summer heat+humidity?
ah true, i guess as an adult too there's more agency to do what you want which is nice! more income but also more bills too
do you feel like something changed for you as you got older?
i feel like i'll have less energy as i get older so something i've been thinking about recently is the idea of doing stuff "while you still can" - e.g. have the energy / motivation / interest for certain experiences that you might not in the future
i feel like since the future is unpredictable now too ... "while you still can" can end up meaning lots of things that we might not even be able to anticipate

i can imagine as a game company it's good to find a model that is profitable and financially sustainable
but i know some people have mixed feelings abt gachas from like a player health perspective
