"....................." Jake was silent for a moment, before smacking his forehead.

"Right." he said.

"Duh." he scolded himself.

He then sighed, and dialled HER work, making sure they were told the same information, before hanging up.

"All right, they know now." he told her.

"You're set."

Jake just shrugged.

"Maybe." he said.

"But it's none of my business." he told her.

He then paused, and looked Anya over, head to toe.

"....in the meantime, we have something to consider." he went on.

"We have tests to run." he continued.

"Because... really... what COULD do this...?"

"I understand." Jake replied.

".............." he was then silent for a moment, shifting his eyes back and forth, before suddenly picking Anya up in his arms.

"Wow." he said.

"....sorry." he then apologised.

"I just had to do it." he admitted, setting her back down, but on a nearby table so she was closer to eye level.

"At least you don't seem to be in pain."

"Fair enough." Jake responded.

"Just... fair enough." he repeated with a shrug.

Sure enough, around lunch, Anya showed up at the Unit... where Jake was manning the security.

He noticed her come in, and leaned over the desk, looking down at her.

"Heh." he chuckled.

"Hello, again." he greeted her.

"Want me to take you to Ty, myself?" he asked.

"....I see." Jake mumbled.

"Yeah, that would be irritating." he said.

He then sighed, put up a 'be right back' sign, picked Anya up, and carried her through the Unit, making sure to avoid contact with anyone. Luckily, they made it to the head office, and after a moment, they were let in.

And Ty was silent as he saw them enter.

"Ah..." he stammered.

"What the...?" he muttered.

'Anya, TOO...?' he thought to himself, as Jake set Anya down in one of the chairs, and excused himself from the room, shutting the door behind him and leaving to return to his post.

"Ah." Ty responed.

"Yeah, sure." he said.

"Sure, you can have access to the lab." he told her.

"I'll make sure to let them know you're on your way." he said further, before pausing.

"Actually... want a life there?" he asked.

"Given the way you are now, someone carrying you would probably be faster."

"I suppose not." Ty admitted.

He then sighed and made his way over towards her.

"Any pain?" he asked.

"Or discomfort or anything?" he asked further.

"Have you noticed any sort of... well, anything detrimental or worrisome from this?" he clarified.

"I mean, other than obvious... physical challenges."

"Fair enough." Ty responded.

He then picked Anya up and manipulated her so that she was on his back.

"Let's go." he told her.

With that, he started to move, and make his way through the corridors.

"Odd that this happened." he commented.

"You just... woke up like this, or what?" he asked.

"No weird forewarnings or anything?"

"That makes sense." Ty responded.

"Whatever helps." he told her.

When they arrived at the lab, they stepped through, and he sighed.

"Kiah!? Ilias!?" he called out.

"I need one of you here!" he said.

"Pronto!"

Ilias just nodded.

"Right." he said.

He then grabbed one of the texts they'd been looking over, and sat down in the chair he was on, hiding himself from view.

"There." he told her.

"Nobody can see me if they poke their head in." he reasoned.

"And if I hear anyone start to come in, I know where I can hide." he continued.

"Anyway, go on."
