He noticed something was happening in the ring, before making his way over.

By the time that Ash had arrived, Lily had already taken a few hits, as was exemplified by the blood she spat onto the mat as he approached.
"She may be the cause of Addison's death." Dani answered simply, plainly and bluntly.
"Yes, I realize it's not a guarantee, so I'm not going to kill her." She continued.
"But that doesn't mean I won't put her in the same state he's in until he's recovered. Karma's a bitch."
Ash just pinched the bridge of his nose.
"......I see." he mumbled.
"Fabulous." he said.
"Just..... fabulous." he grumbled, as he made his way towards the ring.
"Dani, you know Emelie can save him." he said to her.
"And you know the special rules enforced by mana regarding death in here." he went on.
"I'm not trying to diminish your feelings or anything, but... I mean..." he then mumbled further, before just shaking his head.
"You REALLY had to pick NOW to go insane, Lily?" he asked the draydin.

"I hadn't intended to do it. I had no idea what petals had ended up sticking to him." She then stated.
"I'm a teen. Still trying to get a handle on my mana. Gimme a damned break." Cass just rolled her eyes.
"Addy can control his mana fine. Don't use your age as an excuse." She half snapped, sounding like amother.
"Does he have the mana of two different freaking creatures within him?" Lily retorted, which did admittedly make Cass pause a moment.
"She has a point." Ash admitted.
"It was a nightmare for Kelly as a teen." he said.
"Seriously. Wow." he mumbled.
"If you want to beat on someone, make it me." he then told her.
"I'm the one that allowed her to spar here as such." he reminded her.
"So this is pretty much MY fault."

Addison groaned as his eyes opened and he slowly regained consciousness.
"Ugh." he grunted.
"What... what was that?" he asked.
"The hell happened?" he muttered, as he realized he was in the medical wing of the guild, in one of the beds.

"I hadn't realized I could even summon those." She added with a sigh, her voice pained, strained.
"So they were unexpectedly mixed into the blooms that I'd surrounded you with. Very nearly killed you."
"......." Addison was silent as he heard that.
"I see." he said.
"So I lost." he commented.
"Terrific..." he muttered.
"Wonder how many hunters here are gonna see that as a sign of weakness." he mumbled further.
"Guess the uphill battle got a little steeper." he then sighed.

"And I've learned that you're Cass's kid Addison. She... kinda lit into me." She added with a laugh. When he looked to her, he could see that she was quite beaten up. Bruises, lacerations, swelling... there was a lot of it. She had something from it almost everywhere. So say she had her ass handed to her... well, that'd be a massive understatement.
Addison was silent for a moment, and then covered his eyes with one of his hands.
"Moooooooom..." he mumbled, clearly embarrassed.
"I'm sorry." he apologized.
"I'll talk to her about this." he said.
"She's... got a short temper when it comes to me." he sighed.
"And... Cole?" he then asked.
"As in... related to Lucas Cole?" he asked further.
"Moooooooom..." he mumbled, clearly embarrassed.

"Your Mom and Dad were called here once to help with some plants that were starting to react badly with each other because some knucklehead put them in the same containment unit." he told her.
"And for whatever reason, they had to bring him along, so he was left with me and we spent a few hours wasting time." he explained.
"I mean, I've seen him all of about 3 times in the past." he went on.
"But it's hard to forget a kid that's so... conspicuously timid and shy." he admitted.
"Not sure if he still is, to the extent I remember, anyway." he then added.

Addison just sighed.
"Whatever." he said.

"And... Kelly...?" he asked.
"That name sounds... familiar, for some reason..." he muttered, thinking about it.
"Whatever." he said.

"That's not the most common. And to avoid confusion with heraunt, she goes by Kelly."
"Racquel?" he asked.
"Racquel Fyrane?" he asked further.
"Wait..." he muttered.
"I've met Racquel in the past." he said.
"She's come here to speak with Ash on occasion." he went on.
"She prefers to go by Kelly?" he then asked, clearly a bit confused.
