Zeke was silent as the response was given, and she was gone.

"Uh... right then." he said.

"Not... sure if I expected that..." he muttered.

When she appeared in Hell, Lilim saw that she was alone.

Mostly.

She noticed a lesser demon prowling around, but stopped when he saw her.

"Ah, Lady Lilim." he said, cordially bowing to her.

"To what honor do you grace the presence of a lowly demon like myself?" he asked her.

Lilim didn't say anything before crossing her arms.

"Void Stone." She stated, her voice denoting impatience.

"Where around here is the best source?" She asked, knowing that there was a lot around the realm, but also knowing that it wasn't something that one would want to take willy nilly from just anywhere. Some of it would be seriously hazardous on the surface.

The demon smirked.

"Of course." he replied.

"It's that way." he told her, gesturing in the direction of a cave in the distance.

"The walls run blue with it." he said.

"It's one of the richest deposits in the realm." he continued.

"So much of it, my Lady." he went on.

"Do you want an escort?" he asked.

Normally this would suspicious to someone, considering her past... but she was still a daughter of Lilith. And lesser demons knew better than to give one of that level a hard time. So she was used to boot-licking and foot-kissing.

Lilim paused a moment before looking the demon from head to toe, gauging whether or not he'd actually be useful if anyone of her family came for her. After a few seconds she just rolled her eyes.

"Sure." She said simply.

"Lead the way." Was all she said, expecting him to do so. There was a part of her that was definitely uneasy about him being there, about anyone even knowing she was there, but she couldn't deny the fact that this may possibly make it a lot easier.

Plus that smirk wasn't missed by her. For all she knew, there were plans, and she wanted to get out of there before they came to fruition. If she could, of course.

The demon nodded, and the two of them were on their way.

It wasn't TOO far, but Lilim couldn't help but feel eyes upon her.

Eyes that were potentially judging her, but she could sense the lust in the air.

Again, something she was no stranger to.

They made it to the cave with no issues, and sure enough, she saw blue light deep inside it... which meant that it was a good concentration of the element, and that it would be relatively safe to take to the surface.

"This way, this way." the demon said, walking inwards.

"The good stuff is right in the thick of the glow!"

Lilim didn't say anything, but that wasn't too surprising, before she made her way deep within the cavern and the glow. She knew she had to get what she was there for, after all.

It didn't take long before she had what she was after, a couple of decent sized nuggets to take to the surface. Well, to be more specifically, she had one almost small rock sized to send to Angela, the other few she had were for herself, and her paints. As she found that they would give her paints a bioluminescent glow that she absolutely adored, and it would be good to have some on hand for if she ever needed.

Especially with what she had sensed while at the Unit.

That was alarming, and she didn't know if her presence was enough to draw them in, or not.

The lesser demon watched as she grabbed some of the rocks, and then started to take a few steps back.

And then some more.

Before she could really say or do anything, she heard a male voice from behind her.

"...Lilim." they said.

"So good to see you again." they said further.

She knew that voice sickeningly well.

Jerren.

He was a demon that she had been intended to join with as his 'bride', so that her mother could form more partnerships with other demonic families of 'nobility', for her planned coup of Hell.

Lilim paused, sighing.

"Hello, Jerren." She stated simply, turning to face him, crossing her arms and looking notably bored.

"What do you want?" She asked, her voice disinterested.

"What do I want?" Jerren asked in response.

"Simple." he said.

"You." he told her.

"You were promised to me by your mother." he went on.

"...and I always get what I'm promised." he continued, his voice darker in tone now.

"I did good, yes?" the lesser demon asked him.

"Just shut up before you ruin the minor good graces you've managed to accrue." Jerren snapped.

"Uh huh." she stated simply.

"Not gonna happen." She added.

"I outrank you, by far." She added. "Even with my exile."

"I cna still completely demolish you. Do not push your luck."

Jerren just narrowed his eyes.

"You have NO influence here." he said.

"Any moves you make against me WILL result in more people looking for you." he went on, as he approached.

"You made a mistake coming here." he continued.

"I don't care what you think." he went on.

"I am going to murder that human you've attached yourself to, and take you as what you rightfully are! MINE!" he declared.

"I outrank you and am not a posession." Lilim stated calmly before her expression twisted and darkened as she closed the last of the distance between them.

"No. I am not yours." She continued, her voice darkening.

"You are mine." She added.

"It does not matter what you say. Even with my exile. I outrank you, and you are nothing but MY posession." She continued as she brought a hand up to his horn.

"One crack, and you know you belong to me. " As she spoke, her mana was coalescing around his horn, and he could feel it.... feel it well.

The gravity of his situation suddenly occurred to him.

And his expression changed to that of panic.

Sheer terror and panic.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait." he said.

"I, I was too hasty!" he told her.

"I was wrong! I didn't mean it!" he protested.

"Please! Just think about this!" he pleaded.

"I'll stop everything! Okay?" he asked, clearing starting to bargain now.

He was weak. His influence was everything, and right now... he realised he had NO power here.

Lilim's expression just grew as she brought her face close to his.

"No." She stated simply before she brought her other hand up and grabbed both of his horns.

"Lose one, you'd keep your personality." She told him simply.

"Lose both....." She trailed off, her expression and voice dark.

"I assume you know what that means."

That's when she saw his eyes turn to absolute terror and dispair.

He knew what that meant.

"NO!" he yelled.

"NO, STOP!" he pleaded.

"STOP! I'M SORRY!" he yelled further, as he then tried to pry her hands off of his horns.

But to no avail.

She had a firm grip on them, and wasn't letting go.

"NO!!!" he then yelled out in sheer desperation, and started to build up his mana to try and push her away.

Lilim didn't say anything, but he could feel her mana seeping in, and gaining strength.

"I don't know why I didn't do this to begin with." She stated simply, her voice acquiring the same kind of ethereal echo all those of her family had. Before he could probably process it, she wrenched hard on both horns, snapping them off. As he dropped to his knees, she paused and looked to what she held in her hands.

". . . know what? You're no fun like this." she stated before causing one to vanish, and reattaching the other.

"At least this way you know what's going on." She said with an evil grin. "Because I own you now." She continued, lifting his face toward hers by his hair.

"And you know I'm the only one who can repair that, now that it's done. I'm sure you are also aware of how I won't." her red eyes seemed to swirl more than he was used to from her, or any others from her family. Then again, it was a trait that only the owned ones could see of their owners. Along with an ethereal collar and chain from their neck, to their owners hand.

"You've been a thorn in my side for far too long, Jerren." She then said. "Mayhaps I'll give you to my son." She knew he'd have issues with that - even though he couldn't stop her, at all - as he was one that was obsessed with the female form. To be serving a male was ... not something he'd ever have considered something he may have wanted to do, to any stretch.

For a brief moment, he seemed like a hollow husk of his former self... but as soon as the other horn was attached, he regained his faculties.

And she now saw the reality of his situation sinking in, and the despair in his eyes.

"No..." he said. "No, no, no..." he repeated.

"This can't be...!" he went on, as the thought of serving a male... let alone a half-demon male... sunk it. It would be the ultimate humiliation.

However, before either of them could say anything, they heard slow clapping from behind them both.

"Well done." another male voice said.

"Big brother!" Jerren exclaimed.

LIlim knew that voice, too. It was Ronad, and he was nothing like Jerren. He was actually on the same level as her, and having to fight him would probably not end well. The fact that he managed to show up without either her or Jerren noticing until now spoke of the level he was at.

Lilim was silent as she watched the realisation sink in, as she relished in the torture that she knew he must be feeling.

"And you will be completely incapable of stopping it, or disobeying him." She assured Jerren before sighing.

"What do you want? It's 2 on 1 if you're looking for a fight." She said, addressing the newcomer. She didn't want to fight him, but if she had to, she would.

She refused to die down there.

The newcomer just laughed.

It was low... dark... and confident.

"My little brother is nothing when compared to me." he said, as he approached them.

"That's right!" Jerren agreed.

"He's way stronger than me, and he'll definitely be able to see to it that you-" he continued, as Ronad got close enough to the two of them... only to backhand his little brother with enough force to send him to the ground.

"Shut up." he hissed.

"You're a disgrace to the family. Always have been." he went on.

"Being wed to Lilim was the only use you would have had. With her exile, she's of no use to us. And neither are YOU." he growled.

"Keep him." he then told Lilim.

"We don't care if we ever see him again."

Lilim paused, but it was only for a fraction of a second, before she just smirked.

"oh, don't worry. I will put him to work, and I doubt you will see him again." She told him.

"Now then. I got what I came for." She then said, addressing Jerren.

"I do believe we need to stop by my nephew's." She added, a cruel smirk on her face, knowing that he would NOT agree to being anywhere near Zeke. With that, she motioned toward a rift that appeared.

"Go, or you'll feel more pain than you can handle after 2 seconds." She stated, knowing that it would be unlikely he'd avoid any pain.
