@Wildfire: I'm aiming for 5,000 words right now, though if it's more then that's fine. It might be less too, it depends on how the story goes. It's usually difficult to tell when I'm just beginning. But 5k is my goal.
I understand completely. You need a goal or some idea of one, but the art ultimately dictates itself ;)
Yep. I need to write a total of 10k in stories for this challenge that I have signed up for, but I could write 10 stories at 1k each, it's a pretty flexible challenge.
Oh that's convenient. Sometimes it's so much harder to write a short story than a longer one! It sounds like this challenge is pretty good
I find it easier to write shorter stories tbh, they come more naturally. Yeah the challenge is really good, and it's helping me write a lot this year, but I'm not looking forward to the part of the challenge where I have to write 10,000 words in two weeks lmao. RIP Sunny. I've already written one 10k story, and that took me about a month.
It is. It's called the 'heart attack' challenge lmao. I doubt I will be able to complete it, but it's fun to try.
@Wildfire: Yeah. Well, actually, the final challenge finishes in January, which is to turn in another 10k work that we had 6 months to complete. That's my novella which I am almost finished with. The heart attack challenge is in November I believe.
I just watched the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct. So many games that I'll need to play! I'm especially excited for Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It's been so long since I played Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine~
I'll need to get Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury as well. I loved the original game, so it'll be nice to play it again with the new Bowser's Fury part
