hey AMA, are you seeing a lot of snowbirds already? I'm seeing a lot of plates from NJ lately.

Oh, it's very obvious the migration hasn't really started yet, but I've seen enough plates from NJ to make me wonder. And it really is mostly NJ plates. I saw a CO plate and one PA plate I think, but several NJ. Weird. Give it another couple weeks and they'll all be here.
This is exactlyYeah. They tend to not settle here for the Winter, mostly they keep going further south. And only stop in my area for like gas, food, ect ect.

Yeah, they all come here /eyeroll/ The streets get literally twice the traffic as during the summer and they all forget that some of us actually live here and have places to be (far too many people driving really slowly and stupidly). I'm not looking forward to it.

tourists were so bad in the mountains, we'd get these tourist busses that would stop and drop off Asian visitors. I was in my uniform [western outfit, full-on, cowboy hat, loose riding gear, boots, etc] and I was holding my one-year-old son who was bald. I got bombarded with cameras. I was walking up to work and meeting my mom there, so she could take care of my baby. I think a good dozen and a half Asians surrounded me and snapped my picture. [without permission] Just because I looked exciting, i guess with a bold baby.
