@Aerla: I plan to start my own traditions with my future kiddos as well but also keep the traditions I had with my mom alive with my kids just so they can feel close to their nana.

@Aerla: One of the ones I'd love to do is the night before Christmas the kiddos, my hubby, and I sit down with hot chocolate (with mini marshmellows) some home made cookies and we watch a couple of christmas movies then we let the kiddos open their stockings. Another tradition I'd love to do is help my kiddos make their own halloween costumes until they're old enough where they want to, either, do it themselves OR buy their costumes. On Thanksgiving I'd like to go around the table and have everyone say one thing they're thankful. Stuff like that.

Things went meh smoothly. They did not finish their chores. But I've sent them to bed anyways.

confetti curmudgeons cannot comprehend cucumber cube canopy. nor can they comprehend or combine cubes of caramel into the combination. all in all, it comes out as a confetti caramel cherry cube topped with cucumber cake upon the canopy of comprehension.
