She staggered upstairs, her steps horribly unbalanced, her complexion ashen, and her visual focus being harder to maintain the more time went by.
No one was home at the moment. Casey was off at a school for a presentation in an art class, the kids were at school, Lindsay was off to check in and have an emergency session with a patient that had severe agoraphobia, and Ash was off on a hunt. None of that was too surprising, and she'd been fine when they all left in the morning.
Now it was about two in the afternoon, Lindsay was due to return at any point, the others would likely take a bit, but there was no way to know specifically.
No one was there for the moment, and she was desperately trying to get to a phone, to call someone - probably Rene - for some help.
She could barely breathe by this point though, and it was compounding upon everything else.
She hit the floor... and didn't move.
