Oh yes, graham crackers are delicious, and if you throw a toasted marshmallow and chocolate bar in between two of 'em, you get s'mores, and those are godly. *o* I wouldn't consider dunking them in tea sacrilegious, and honestly that sounds really tasty, so I should try it sometime.

Cracker Jacks are good, which is caramel popcorn with peanuts mixed in. I don't always care for the peanuts though, so sometimes I'll look for regular caramel popcorn, though I can't think of any brands off the top of my head. Totino's Pizza Rolls are also delicious. They come frozen though, which I'm not sure how feasible that is for you, but if you end up getting them, they come in a variety of flavors and can be oven baked or microwaved. Of course I suggest oven baked.

Do you prefer sweet or savory snacks, or do you not have a preference?

@Starry: I think the worst crowd I've been in so far was for a Hollywood Undead concert at Rockville. Was probably not even 10 rows back, but some dudes kept pushing against the crowd trying to start a pit, so we kept getting crushed and it was godawfully annoying. So much that I was distracted trying to keep my glasses on and didn't get to enjoy the show much. If I was closer to the dudes who started that garbage, I'd have thrown elbows to faces, to be honest.

I feel like I suck at measuring myself lol. Like I tried measuring my bra size by myself just to be sure I was doing it right, and it seemed really off, so I guess I might need to be professionally measured. But yeaaah, I hate when something looks cute on the rack but looks weird on my body. I wear a mix of loose and form-fitting clothes, depending on my mood. I won't wear crop tops because I'm self-conscious about my stomach, so I get annoyed shopping in the juniors section and like 80% of their tops are crop tops now. I WANT THE REST OF MY SHIRT!!

I have a lot of older Hot Topic stuff too!! I miss some of my Tripp pants and fashion corsets, pretty much all of which I outgrew and got rid of. I wish zippered corsets were still a thing because all the ones I find in person or online are like the ones you lace up, which I don't have the patience for. It's harder for me to find band tees I like in Hot Topic, but sometimes I might buy them online since fit doesn't quite matter as much. I'm sorry about your Korn shirt being gone.

Starry:
@aisukohi: That’s understandable, though one of the reasons I want to be up front on the rail is so I have something to hold on to if things get wild! Haha. I love heavy music but I try to avoid mosh pits. I don’t wanna get shoved around and risk my glasses or other belongings getting destroyed, plus it’s just not my thing. At the festival I mentioned before the headlining bands on day 3 were Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters, and everyone shoved forward and security was pulling people out from the front who were trying to escape.

Thanks, I’m definitely looking forward to the show. ^_^ That show sounds awesome. I’m unfamiliar with Mothe but I know some songs by girlhouse and The Wrecks that I like.

I feel you on that. I’m glad dressing rooms are open again because I’ve recently lost a lot of weight, and between that and vanity sizing I have to try on everything in person and am worried when I order stuff online that it’ll be too big. I should really learn how to alter stuff too. Most of my clothes look like tents now, but I have a lot of concert Ts that I can’t just replace, so I just tuck my tent shirt into my skinny jeans and rock the mom look. XD The one good thing about shoes is usually the sizes are consistent, unlike clothing.

Also I decided to make a hangout thread if either if you wanna chat with me there :3 if not it’s all good too, lol, feeling kinda bored and chatty this morning g. https://www.voltra.us/forum/view_topic/13542

Moving the conversation from your other thread to here!

Makes a lot of sense to want to be close to the rails, but that would suck to have to be rescued by security like that since you'd probably lose your place for good. x-x Those bands you mentioned are definitely popular, so not surprised people behaved like that. I'd say Mothe's energy is somewhere in a happy medium between girlhouse and The Wrecks, actually. Favorite songs include Debt Collector, It's Okay to Be Lonely, and Dancing on an Empty Floor.

Yesss, I'm so glad dressing rooms are open again too, and I feel the same way about shopping online for clothes! I hate the idea of having to return something, so rather shop and try on things in person. I've seen some pretty neat tee alteration videos on Youtube that you might check out for your band tees? I've been meaning to alter some of my old ones as well because I refuse to let go of them too. xD

Also the 90s mall meme you made is gold. xDD I legit miss when Hot Topic sold a lot of that stuff they're wearing.
@star2000shadow: I've been wanting to change this one for a while, but I keep waiting for the new CIs and orbs to come out so I can wear those items if I like them enough.

@Starry: I definitely can't stand as long as I used to, so I feel you there! I don't think I've ever been front row at a concert, mostly because I don't have the stamina for it, but also because I don't fancy being crushed against the guard if people get crazy. I've been to a few where I was pretty far up, but also those tended to be crazy ones between the constant flow of crowd surfers and then idiots trying to mosh where it wasn't wanted. Some experiences I wouldn't care to do again while others were totally worth it. I got a "bangover" when I saw Motionless in White earlier this year from banging my head too much, so felt like a hunchback the next couple days, but totally worth it. xDD Hope you enjoy The Birthday Massacre when you see them! I went to a concert in Orlando a couple weeks ago and saw Mothe (the e has an accent, but it's pronounced like 'moth'), girlhouse, and The Wrecks, all of which were fantastic.

Oof, I feel you on finding good shoes because I have a similar problem with finding clothes. A lot of the stores I shop at, I find a TON of stuff in bigger sizes, but hardly any in my size, and I'm small. If I knew how to sew or if getting alterations wasn't so expensive and time consuming, I'd probably buy bigger sizes anyway, but nope.
@Yae Meiji: Unfortunately I sold them already, but best of luck to you getting them! No worries on the late reply. Life's been super busy for me too. x-x

@Starry: Oh awesome! Yeah, that's the thing about festivals is feeling exhausted and gross at the end of the day. xP At the venue where they used to have Welcome to Rockville, there was this field that they put one of the stages that was literally mostly gravel and dirt, which was easy to get kicked up and get caked everywhere on your body, and I mean EVERYWHERE!! I've yet to go to the new venue, which is now in Daytona Beach, and I'm pretty miffed about it because I don't think they'll move it back to Jacksonville, which is closer to where I live. But yeah, I love finding new music through other bands too! Which band are you going to see next?

That makes sense not to wear heels then lol. I think bigger feet can still be beautiful, but everyone's different I suppose, and we are our own worst critics. xP I get self-conscious about showing my stomach in public, even though lots of women my age do it regardless of body type.

I'd love to see a dragon of ghost Eeveelution! Or maybe a bug type, if that's even possible lol. I saw this meme yesterday and thought it was hilarious. xD

@Miss Sandman: Yes, 30 is way too young. I lost a good friend a couple years ago, and she was in her early 30s. It was so sudden, we were all in shock, and I think about her a lot because it still hurts.

Do you know what her funeral preferences were (burial, cremation, etc.)? I want to go visit my friend, but she's buried across the country, so will try to see her next time I'm up that way.

@Starry: I hope you get the chance to go to a music festival someday because they're lots of fun! Concerts are one of my happy places, but I haven't been going to a lot lately, mostly because I'm terrible about keeping track of them and planning the time off for them. xD

Yes, I usually end up comparing dub and sub in each series and seeing which I prefer. I definitely prefer Demon Slayer in sub but MHA in dub.

I think what gives me the desire to wear heels again is that other people do it all the time, so why can't I? But it'll definitely be a process to get back into it. I feel like the smaller the foot size, the smaller the heel you need because of the incline (I'm anywhere from a 6.5-7 in US sizes). I love platforms though, so those help with taller heels. But yeah, I'm always wearing flats to cons because I dislike the thought of having to change shoes partway through.

I had to look up Goomy/Sliggoo/Goodra, and they're cute! Goodra gives me Dragonite vibes, which I love. Sylveon has always been cute, but pretty much all of the Eeveelutions are adorable. My favorites in that bunch are Espeon and Umbreon. <3

@Miss Sandman: Sounds like a beautiful colour scheme. If you're feeling up for it, would you mind taking pictures of what you make?

@Miss Sandman: I'm so sorry for your loss.
I hope you and her loved ones find peace in each other.

@Starry: Oh neat! It's nice when artists return to venues they've been to before. I used to go to this music festival in the area called Welcome to Rockville every year, and several of the artists would return time and time again, which was nice. Haven't been in the last couple of years for different reasons, but maybe next year I'll go.

I started watching anime in dub, but I've gotten more used to sub over the years, especially if I'm not patient enough for the dub episodes to come out. xD There are some series I prefer one over the other. Aww, that's so nice that you can influence your friend's kid. xD I love seeing littles in cosplay at cons. <3

Both of your cosplay ideas sound like fun! I'm not as comfy in high heels like I used to be, but before I would get calluses too, which weren't fun. My feet don't tolerate heels as much as they used to, but maybe if I wore them more often, I could get used to them again. You should definitely take your Meowth plushie if you cosplay Team Rocket Grunt. xD

Yeah I've seen some new versions of old Pokemon, and some look cool, but also it's too much for me to keep up with lol. Do you have favorite Pokemon from newer generations?

@Starry: Glad you've at least been to a concert! Who did you see for your first one? Yeah it was crazy to think my university would host some of the most popular artists at the time, but I don't think they do it anymore. I'd say Cobra Starship was more popular in the late 2000s/early 2010s, but I think they've stopped making music, or at least I haven't heard anything recent from them.

To be honest, I'm not familiar with a ton of VA names either, and had to look up some of the ones I just used lol. The reason I remember Monica Rial is because I've somehow been able to see her 3 times at 3 different cons, and that wasn't even on purpose. xD She's just a really big name out there and is such a nice person! Yeah, it can be hard to go to cons with little ones, for sure. My boy is 4, but he's autistic and will only be entertained for so long before he starts acting up. One day I'd like to try cosplay with him, I was thinking I'd be Sophie and he could be Markle from Howl's Moving Castle since we both kinda look like those characters. <3 Do you have any ideas who you'd like to cosplay as? I've done Chihiro from Spirited Away and also Izumi (aka 'Teacher') from Full Metal Alchemist so far. Thinking of ideas for cosplay for the next couple cons I'm going to... Sounds like you got some nice art pieces! My guy loves the Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar combo, so he's always collecting pieces of those 3. Cubone is also one of his favorites as well as Sandshrew lol. I'm not much into Pokemon, but I have a few favorites from the first couple generations. Lost interest after that. ^^;

I'm so sorry that you and your family are going through a rough time, but I hope your loved ones are able to recover to the point of happy and successful lives. I know you might feel helpless not being able to be physically there to support them, but your support with what you're doing now means more than you know. I'm not sure how to offer advice for coping, but I may suggest looking for support groups in your area. Reading your previous posts how you're worried about affording therapy, I think support groups can be an inexpensive alternative in the meantime.

One of my friends was involved in a motorcycle accident with her boyfriend earlier this year, and she got the worst of it. I won't go into detail, but she lost one of her feet and became an amputee just below the knee. She's thankfully out of the hospital and sorting through life, and I believe she plans on getting prosthetics down the road, but her boyfriend is sooo supportive of her, plus her family of course. Outwardly, she takes it like a champ, but I'm sure inwardly, she's got her own battles.

Just today we were coming home and there was a motorcyclist driving like a maniac as he weaved between cars. Really wish there was a cop around to correct that behavior. I see a lot of motorcyclists around here driving erratically and it drives me nuts that they don't acknowledge there's a thin line between life and death. Or maybe they have a death wish, but that doesn't mean they need to get others involved.
