Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Ty opened his mouth to say something, but then paused. And thought. He took in his own body and thoughts for a moment, seemingly staring off into space while he did so, before looking back at her.

"Better." he said.

"Like, a LOT better." he told her.

"As in, holy shit, I feel like MYSELF again." he then commented, as he slowly got to a sitting position.

"Granted, it took a while, and it was a HELLISH while, but I think I'm finally feeling like, well, ME again." he reiterated. "So yeah, this feels pretty good." he commented further, before he looked around and saw the spiders surrounding him.

"...I think you can tell them to not be in attack formation now, or whatever..." he murmured anxiously.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan gathered them up, and nodded at her.

"Will do!" he exclaimed. "Bye for now!" he said, before bounding off with the treasure trove of sucrose, leaving Izzy to laugh again... and then wonder if her offering of something sweet would get Jake to, even if briefly, come back to his old self again.

---

Ty's world was darkness and void again, but as he felt the sensation of pain (which he was all but numb to at this point) returning to him, he saw the darkness part, and the familiar scenery of the room he had been confined to come into view.

He then noticed he was surrounded by spiders. Spiders that very much looked not of this world, with nightmare proportions and phobia-inducing visages.

He rolled onto his back, and then saw a large arachnophobic nightmare looming over him, which caused him to flinch and freeze for a moment... before sighing.

"Still not used to waking up to you like THAT..." he muttered.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan looked at what was sent, and nodded.

"Right, the cupcakes for me, the large-ass brownie for Blair, and a drink for both of us." he said.

"Looks like everything's here." he commented, looking over all that was there.

"Thanks, Izzy!" he said to her with a smile.

"There anything I can do to repay you for this?" he asked, before pausing.

"...aside from paying you back when I actually CAN." he stated. "I mean right NOW, under these circumstances."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan nodded in response.

"All right then." he responded.

They had their small talk for that 20 minutes, and when the delivery arrived, they both saw it was a decent amount of stuff. The order had been pretty siseable, and it looked like a pile of sweetness.

When Izzy had paid the person and then they left, she looked over, and saw Evan's full attention was on the food.

And she could faintly hear him purr.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"...you sure?" Evan asked hesitantly.

"100%." Izzy confirmed.

"Well... a pair of their Paradise Shakes would be great." he told her. "And they're fully customisable, so... it could get complicated." he then warned.

"Shoot." she responded.

Evan then rattled off a milkshake build for himself, and one for Blair as well, and Izzy had to admit, the customisation options were pretty expansive. Thankfully, the drinks Evan ordered weren't TOO bad, relatively speaking.

"Again, thanks." he repeated.

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan was silent for a moment, before smacking his forehead.

"Duh." he scolded himself.

"Well... I'll tell you what, I could really go for their half-dozen decadent dream cupcakes." he told her. "And I favour the ones with caramel on or in them." he said further.

"...and if possible, their signature mega-brownie for Blair." he then added.

"Because I know he'll appreciate that."

great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

He sighed in response.

"Just try to avoid unnecessary danger." he told her.

He was then silent, before looking at her.

"Thanks, Izea." he said.

"I never realised that I just needed someone to... well... talk to. Just genuinely TALK to." he admitted.

"And I hope this helps our YOUR situation as well." he added.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan continued to freak out for a bit, before forcing himself to calm down. He took a few breaths and composed himself, looking at Izzy again.

"Well, if you think it's too risky, don't call them." he told her.

"At this point, I don't think we can be TOO cautious." he admitted.

"And I just need to assume things are fine. Or, at the very least, not horrible." he then added.

"Though it IS frightening not knowing just the reach that camera had."

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"...oh! Right!" Evan remembered.

"Yeah, that's true. Good point." he said. "And yeah, both my Mom and Dad are listed as emergency contacts." he confirmed, sounding a little relieved... before he came to anothe realisation.

"W-wait..." he stammered.

"Did... were Mom and Dad victims of that camera?" he wondered aloud.

"Are THEY even okay!?" he continued to ask, growing a little more panicked now.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"....crap, right." Evan mumbled.

"Well, it's for the best. We really shouldn't have much access to the outside world." he admitted.

He then paused again, before looking at her.

"Hey, 2 things." he then said.

"One, thanks for doing this and placing the order and stuff." he continued. "And two, if I give you her email address, will you email my Mom and tell her I'm doing okay?" he asked.

"Just so she knows."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan's ears twitched when he heard that.

"...that would be wonderful." he told her.

"Hm." he mumbled.

"You need some funds for that?" he asked. "Those desserts can get pricey." he reasoned.

"So I can easily give you some money or do an e-transfer or something."

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Fair enough." Evan responded.

"..." he was then silent and thought for a moment.

"I cannot wait to get out of here." he said. "Blair and I are gonna go to that dessert shop and pig the frack out." he told her.

"I miss sweet treats." he went on.

"...I miss my family..." he sighed.

"But, right, glad you have SOME entertainment." he then added.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

Evan blinked a couple of times.

"....no. She wouldn't be." he said.

"And that's scary to think about." he went on. "She... when she's mad, she's maaaaaaad." he continued.

"What have you been doing to pass the time?" he then asked her.

"Anything at all? Surely you don't just sit around all day."

...and I'll forgive thy

Forgive, O Lord,
my little jokes on thee...

"Blair's... faring." Evan responded.

"He's... well, let's just say that to keep ourselves occupied, we've been... trying new experiences." he said further.

"And you're bored, huh? Makes sense." he admitted.

"I hope this ends soon." he continued. "So we can all get back to our normals." he went on.

"Damn camera..." he cursed quietly.

...and I'll forgive thy
great big one on me.
