I crave all the things. Is that how cravings work? Food is mentioned and I need it?

A friend of mine told me eating for two was a myth and I was just like tell that to my constant hunger pains.

@mdom: I wanna be all "You can't steal food from a pregnant lady!" but rainbows can do whatever the heck they want.

I'm jealous of everyone, I've just been munching all the rice cakes. I am Glume, eater of worlds.

Did someone mention food?
...cuz I've been eating all day...
@Peachy: Nope, not negative at all <3 Dementia is such a coin toss in regards to how they feel, I wish we understood more about it.
@Peachy: I've worked in a few retirement facilities. Sometimes you have to seriously encourage older folks to do what is good for them.

@eliechan: I feel for you, dear. Its hard to cope when folks would rather do something seemingly ridiculous when you're trying to take care of them. I'm glad you were patient enough to leave the room and let her do it. Obsessive compulsions like that are hard not to do, especially for older folks.

@Uncledaddy: Who was that man? I, for one, would like to shake his hand.

So I see a few folks, yourself included, that are worried they don't make friends because they are weird. My advice? BE WEIRD MORE! I had no friends for a long time because I was worried people wouldn't like me when they discovered who I really was. Then I started being me with no shame. I flaunt the weird stuff I'm into, I talk openly about my weird habits, I sing and dance weirdly whenever a song strikes me. If someone gives me a look like I just did something strange, I laugh and say "I never learned social cue's" and all is usually forgiven. Be the most you that you can be and own it. If people think you're "too weird" trust that they are the ones with a problem, and they did you the favor of weeding themselves out of your life. (It doesn't happen over night, take baby steps <3 )
If you're worried you're driving people away, tell them just that. "Hey pal, I think you're a person worth being friends with, but I worry I'm doing something to hinder that." Open honest communication is the best way to keep friends. Whenever I've tried this, I learned there was nothing I was doing wrong. Sometimes people get busy, or even anxious themselves, and its easy to just pick up where you left off.

@KairoSama: I'm here to hang out in your hang out! Can I hang loose too?

@Kairu: Never ever EVER evereverever base your decisions on what other peoples ideas of you might be. For one, you're likely wrong about what they will think, and for two, no two people think the same way so pleasing everyone is impossible. Make sure you are happy (and I guess your parental unit :p ) and thats it <3

You hate games? I hate small-talk! But I'll indulge you with a bit of randomness and/or deep thinkers instead. Like this one: Who put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah bomp?
