@Unicorn: I mean, I do generally get paid if I have extra hours, but too many extra hours tends to make the boss pissy, so I don't always bother claiming my full time there. Like, if I'm there an extra 20 minutes cleaning, I don't bother claiming those minutes because otherwise the boss gets all bitchy and will basically track me on the security cameras and whatnot. So to save on drama, I basically short myself unless she specifically approves the extra hours in advance.

@Unicorn: HA. No. They definitely don't clean up after themselves at all. Although, ironically, the boss at the last major staff meeting was all "we need to try to clean up after ourselves in the kitchen so it doesn't take our custodian so long to clean it" and she's the one who is the worst about cleaning up.
It's like no one knows how to rinse a dish or wipe up a spill.

@Unicorn: Unfortunately, I'm pretty much rushed almost every night because they only schedule me 4 hours to get all the stuff done, which is just not enough time for all the stuff they want done, especially when almost every day they leave a giant mess in the kitchen, which takes me over an hour to deal with.
But it is what it is.

@Unicorn: The museum. Almost done for the night at this point, but staying a little later than I was scheduled so I can take care of some extra cleaning now instead of being rushed to get it done on Monday.

Those owls are super cute! I keep meaning to work on more stuffed animals.
And yeah, orange is a tough color to really put with certain colors. I'm sure it looks alright, but not my taste either.

@Apollo Im Burning: I should really give it a shot. Mainly because there are way more modern patterns for cross stitch than there is for embroidery, which is actually pretty frustrating.
It's like,
Cross stitch: Here, have this cool dragon! How about Starry Night? Or take this fancy modern geometric design!
Embroidery: You love flowery pillow cases, right?

@Apollo Im Burning: Yay, welcome! I generally prefer to be pinged also, but have the same issue with not getting them a lot.
And cross-stitch! That's exciting! If you ever manage to get a pic, I want to see! Is it hard to learn?

I feel like a monster admitting to this, but I knowingly killed my hamster. And, years later, my parakeet. I just couldn't deal with them and rather than find someone who could, I just....killed them.
I dumped my hamster, cage and all, into the dumpster and left him there. And I let my parakeet go out the window, knowing that his wings were clipped and he couldn't really fly much yet.
I knowingly killed them and I am a horrible person.
And I don't even feel that bad about what I did, which just makes it worse.
I am the worst.
I am a disgusting monster who deserves to die.
