Roxie had watched as the other vampire became distracted and slowly, cautiously moved away from the little girl. Once the other vampire was away, Roxie crept over to the girl and held a finger to her lips, meaning not to make a sound. She gestured that she was there to help the little girl get out of there. She careffully pulled the small girl close and slowly lowered herself onto the floor, finding that she had crept into another room from the rafters. She could hear the front door open and carefully hid the little girl before hiding herself, not wanting to get caught.

Finally it was time to go home. The old man smiled at Eros,"Thank goodness it's the weekend starting tomorrow." He said,"I don't know about you, but I think we need a bit of a break. I do appreciate all your hard work. Thanks for being such a wonderful help."

Aria smiled,"Because that's what love does to people." She said gently,"I'd go through a blizzard to get to you if I had to. It's just one of those things you do if you love the person enough and they mean that much to you." She snuggled against him gently

Hey anyone here??

Over the next few days, Julia worked on getting ready for the dance, making sure to get her dress robes prepared, making sure she had all the things she would need to look nice that evening. She was really excited and hadn't been expected to be asked to any kind of dance at all since she was such a bookworm.

Her father gently patted his back in thanks and went back to doing some paperwork. He pulled out the snacks Sapphira sent off with him and offered some to Eros as he worked.

"No." Aria said quietly,"Maybe I will another time. I dont want to make her feel anxious by asking all these questions about her childhood." She also didnt want to look like a fool. But she wouldn't say that out loud. She smiled and kissed his cheek after he slipped his coffee.

As Roxie hid, she noticed a small girl hidden in the rafters as well, not far from her. She was in a fetal position, shaking in fear. She wasn't sure why she was there and wanted to help her get home safely but with the other vampire not far from her, it would be tricky. She started to think of a way she could help the girl unnoticed. She didnt want her to suffer like she had.
