Cordelia waited at the tavern, letting out a sigh. He really didn't think she was stupid, did he? She had a feeling that he was doing what pirates were to do. She could only smile slightly, knowing he must be happy, now able to do what he had always wanted to do. Now to just sit and wait for him to return.

Kagome smiled and hugged him gently,"Thank goodness it helped. Even if it was a little." She said, letting go of him and getting some lunch. Sango giggled,"Yup. He's back to normal." She said to Miroku, glad to see things were normal once again. It was always hard on the group when one of them was sick.

"Hey.... mind if I join you?" A soft voice spoke as not to startle him. Sayuri had been looking for him and had found him at the dock at the pond. She hadn't seen him in a while and she had missed him.

Bryan smiled,"I'm just glad your alright." He said gently,"Though honestly...if wishes really work... I would choose to be a merperson." He smiled sadly,"I have no family left. They all died from an illness when I was younger. The few people that I do talk to treat me like I'm some weirdo. At least I have you and Sirene as friends. Maybe even Nathan if he might not like me at the moment..."

Sirene looked at him sadly,"I was afraid you would overreact... I was afraid you would hate him before even giving him a chance." She said,"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. It's just...Natalie really likes Bryan. Like, a lot. I think she has a crush on him and I can tell he has one on her. I just didn't want to ruin any happiness she could have from this crush. There's a good possibility that he would choose being a merperson over being a human."

Aria smiled and continued to read to him, only pausing to talk about an event in the book or take a sip of hot chocolate brought to them by a kind servant. She soon finished that book and smiled,"Wow what a cliff hsnger." She said, looking at Lyle,"You know we'll have to get the rest of the books when they are written. I can't wait to see what happens next." She stretched a bit,"Ler's see...what book would you like to read next?" She asked him, knowing there was many to choose from.

Sapphira smiled and nodded,"Alright. I can show you after dinner." She said. She chatted with her dad about things like work and things like that. When dinner was finished she served the guys dessert and went to clean up the dishes she had made from cooking dinner.

Aria smiled and nodded, kissing his cheek,"Give me a few moments to go and get it." She said, making sure he was comfortable before hurrying off to get the book. It didn't take her long to return with it and within moments, she was seated next to Lyle, leaning against him gently in a way that was comfortable to both of them,"Let's see where were we... Chapter seven, right?" She asked him, wondering if he remembered. She found the bookmark in the chapter they had stopped and started to read,"Damien looked at the strange figure in shock,"Me? A wizard?" He had asked, in disbelief,"How is that possible? I've never had any magic ability before now... Are you sure this isn't some kind of mistake...?"

Sapphira smiled,"I went to the temple of Aphrodite this afternoon," She said,"Shortly before I came back to start dinner, and I noticed they had these really intricate statues there of her. I decided to try to sketch how she would look if she was to appear before someone. I could show you after dinner if you'd like. I'm not the best at sketches yet but I thought it came out really well all things considered. I thought about sending it as an offering to her but I'm afraid to because i don't want it to seem disrespectful."

Sango smiled and hugged him gently. The two had always been close, but with working for Inuyasha, they agreed to focus on their work when needed and then when things were done they could spend time together with no worries. She kissed his cheek and looked up at him,"I do hope things get better in time." She murmured.

Cordelia blinked when he spoke and nodded,"Well...okay." she said,"Be careful though, okay?" She really didnt like the idea of splitting up, but she did as he asked, hoping things would be alright.

Kagome helped Inuyasha whenever she could, explaining things differently so he could understand it easier. She was thankful that he had recovered and was back to his normal self. "Thank God we got that project finished." Kagome said to him as they went to get lunch that day,"I'm so happy it's over now."

Sango smiled as she found her friends at lunch,"Hey guys." She said,"Glad to see Inuyasha feeling better."

Sayuri was doing much better with getting around and had lots of new friends to chat with. But she always made time to hang out with Koga when they could.

Aria nodded and went with him into the parlor room. She let him choose where he wanted to sit and got him comfortable before carefully placing the ice on his knee,"There we go." She said with a smile,"Would you like one of the books I brought with me to read? Or a new one? Or I could read to you if you like." She was willing to let him choose. Today would be all about what he wanted to do. She kissed his cheek gently, waiting to his his answer.

Sapphira smiled,"Its been pretty good, " she said as they ate,"I did a little housework to keep busy and to help the servant out a bit. It had been piling up lately and I figured helping would get things moving faster. Other than that I spent done time working on some sketches I've been toying with in my mind. Then I came out here to get dinner ready and...well that's it really."

Bryan hugged her back gently,"I understand." He said gently,"A big brother is protective of his little sister. I was when mine was still alive..."

Sirene frowned, watching Nathan go. She looked at Natalie,"You guys be careful okay?" She said gently, before diving back under the water, wanting to catch up to Nathan,"Nathan!" She called, swimming to catch up with him,"Nathan!" She gently grabbed his arm to slow him down a little,"I wasn't meaning to come off rude like I did." She said gently,"I'm sorry about that. Just don't be upset. Bryan is a kind guy. I know we haven't known him long, but I have a good feeling about him. I really do. The same kind of good feeling I always got from you. That feeling I still do get from you. Only I think of him as a good friend."

Aria smiled and kissed his cheek before sitting down to finish up her breakfast. When they had finished, she had gotten the ice needed for Lyle's knee placed in an icepack. She looked over at him,"Where would you like to read?" She asked him,"Hopefully somewhere we can get your leg propped up so it can be iced for a bit." She didn't mind where they would read and had hoped Troy wouldn't mind them spending the day together like this. He was welcome to join them if he wished of course.
