Hello, star.

Milk, bread, yogurt. Particularly milk. Coats the stuff that makes the burn happen and keeps it from burning anything unprotected. Also creates a barrier of sorts for the next bite.
Water does not bind to it and spreads it around, and makes the burn worse. Get milk.

On my eyelid? Where it would keep my eye from opening? And be in the way? And inevitably fall off?

Do not ask me how, but I managed to get a paper cut on my eyelid. Ouch.

I appear to be rather inactive with this event. Is that good or bad, we shall see.
