Explode it did. I was otherwise occupied as it occurred or elsewise I would have attempted to photograph the kitchen before cleanup started. Or do you have some other suggestion as to how it ended everywhere, including the ceiling?

Much as Father and I dislike social events for how draining they are, this gathering had an entertainment for every one. How was your night?

Christmas movies are childish to the extreme, full of sap to where I could tap it and make syrup, or corny to where it is painful to view even a second of it. The new Nutcacker movie, which I have not seen, does seem promising.

@Priestess of Pie: Unfortunately, Mother is invigorated by it, and does not understand why Father and I are not.

@devil: They will need it, as well as many people to go through it all.

@Priestess of Pie: We do not focus on holidays much, unless we include Mother's love of going to every social event she can and forcing Father and me to come along. Neither he nor I like it, and by the time the Christmas and New Year social swirl is done, he and I are ready to sleep through the next several weeks.

@devil: Oh my. Now I pity the people who have that job. Nearly twenty years of finding what is now banned and keeping up on new posts and such that are now banned is most definitely a job I do not want.

Some times we go out and see what is set up by the stores and businesses, but most years, especially recent years, we do not do much of anything.
