@Starlight: Yeah so i was a bit bitter towards that staff.
but i don't go on that site much anymore luckily.

I was on voltra's staff during launch as writer and short time item person[idk what it's called]
but writing was too stressful so i had to pull back.

@ghost: for real. so i quit because honestly...people were not that nice.
and would always kind talk rudely to me.

@ghost: Also my mentor taught me jack nothing.
Like we all would have mentors and he was just like "you just do this and done."
except PS was hard to work with and kept making my images i think too big
so then no one told me HOW to fix it.

so i only worked for...maybe 2 months with that site.

@Hachi: I'd probably ask for OC art...but i'd first have to draw my oc.
or make an updated one.
i never draw my Ocs. but im almost done! lmao

i used to work for 2 avatar sites.
and did recoloring of items.

but idk if i'd want to do that again. one of the sites stressed me so bad about it i got severe neck pain
to make sure i colored them on time.

@xvz: anywhere where i would have a boss im like "NOPE"
i hate being told what to do...by someone else.
I have no idea what it is but being told what to do i will just be like "NO"
at one time i wanted to work in the art industry. Maybe as a comic artist? or concept artist.
But i think you have to have a degree like from college to get into industry so now i am like "well..i'll just work...for myself."
probably better that way.

for real. whenever i follow a new artist i try to scroll all the way down to see the "bad" art just because i love to see
progress and people's journey.
On My IG you can definitely see my bad art lol.

@star2000shadow: Basically save the details for much later after you get the
big shapes, as well as values down.
as you may end up just painting over the small details.

@xvz: For real! sometimes makes me wish i was a director for MVs cause i feel i have a creative brain lol.
But instead im just like "nah..i'll paint it instead."

Yeah it's good to remind yourself they practiced it for years.
that's probably how i stopped comparing myself to others as 2020 was the year i really
started to draw and had to remind myself...a lot that they did this for years to get that good.

@star2000shadow: Details can be overwhelming.
Though i had some nice people in a discord im in tell me to block in the big colors first
and then detail and that helped so much.

@xvz: Starting will always be the hardest part.
then after that, it becomes so much less hard.
So i can't wait to do more landscapes.

@star2000shadow: I try to keep low standards with my work
otherwise, i will have a full on meltdown lol.
cause im very inexperienced.

@xvz: yeah, i am pretty good at finding good references.
I watch a lot of Music videos of K-pop and they have tons of colorful and gorgeous scenes
so i just cannot stop saving images of them lol.

Yeah clouds are super hard. so that'll be hard. But once i get those down it's cloud paintings everyday lol.
Yeah artists make it look so easy. probably since they practiced them...a lot. XD

@xvz: Pinterest is where all my references are and where i find them.
Just all about using the right keywords. but sometimes i will just click one image
and scroll down to the related ones as they usually have good ones below it.

a lot of times i screen shot...Music videos lol.
Just whatever strikes me as inspiring.
though i have yet to color or paint any of the things i screen shot stuff from cause..perspective lol.

Yeah, just doing the mountains i was like "man this is so fun!" which i never had in art.
so it was nice to break away and just relax while painting something out of the ordinary for me.
Yeah clouds are rough to paint. or for me they are. though i really want to paint moons and clouds.

@xvz: I have a ton of sub categories within my reference board.
Like poses which consists of random poses from full bodies to just hands.
and my other board is scenary like mountains, clouds, etc
and other is clothing so i have very many choices to choose from.

I will probably do another mountain one, and after that i will either try to do a plant type of study or cloud.
Clouds though are very difficult to paint.
