So i don't often post of my work but i feel it was a good thing to post about.
Backstory: I don't paint. My brain had literally convinced me i couldn't no matter if i practiced.
So I spent a lot of time not doing it. Until like...2 days ago.
I just got fed up with myself and how i just wouldn't study so i just grabbed a simple pic i could find
of a landscape since people at the time seemed...very daunting.
I'm still not fully done with it obviously, but as a starting point i feel very proud of it.

im just like...fed up with feeling bad about my art i guess.
that is making me so determined to study cause i know there is so much i can learn.
so im just like "NO MORE DISTRACTIONS. STUDY!"
Business cards are so nice. i eventually wanted to make post cards or stickers for my patreon
and add my business card in them. cause it sounds so nice.
and also...get my own customizable stamp...with a bat on it lol.
@xvz: Not yet but i've been getting the itch to do one cause im terrible at drawing clothing.
so past few weeks i've been hoarding random clothing reference on pinterest to study.
yeah true. i have tons of refs for them on pinterest too so i got lots to study.

@xvz: Yeah i normally go back and see my old work.
Though there is some stuff that hasn't improved too much so then i focus on improving that part of my art.
for example...shading. i never shade the clothes in my work so then my work sometimes feel..."meh"
so that is something i need to work on.
Yeah i am hoping so.
Hm..i'm not sure as there is a lot to work on. But breaking down hands into better shapes for sure
because hands really stop me from finishing art a lot of times.
and i feel doing different poses with hands could really make my art look...a lot better.
After that will probably be coloring. so shading of clothes, painting hair/skin, etc.

@xvz: part of me feels like i've barely worked hard and now i feel ready enough
to just dive into the books of hard work lol.
though i do art practically...everyday.
sometimes i'll take a day or 2 to just rest but usually every single day i work on art.
mostly i expand working on one piece over the course of a few days that way
i don't put strain on my wrist or body and won't in a sense time crunch for like 8 hours on one thing.

@Hachi: For real! im planning to make my 2021 resolution to dedicate myself
more to studying art. Not just drawing to draw, but to really study, study my own work as well
and overall work on improving myself and my art.
I'm so excited to incorporate the things i learn into my work. I have so many ideas.
For real! my sister luckily would love to help me, so i'll have a helper at least when the time comes
to make merch, and prints. I mostly cannot wait to design my business cards as i have a vague idea what to do.

i also do not like clique-y stuff with avatar sites.
mostly why i just make my own hangouts.
but overall im bad at socializing cause i got that social anxiety.

Yup. Cause during pinktober i just noticed my comfort zone and i just
did not want to continue doing the same things as then i wouldn't improve the things i needed to get better at.

i normally keep the same avatar for 2-5 months as i am not particularly active.
yeah i thought it would be a neat idea.
as i never had drawn plants and i usually look at my feed to see the least used theme/color.

haven't bough new items in forever.
An artist i watch was showing us some plants she has in these little glass looking bottles on her stream
and i thought it was a good idea to have a person in it with some plants/blossoms.
I'm not very well known plant person so i have no idea what it's called. :vanora_sweat:
but also saw some ideas on pinterest as well.

@xvz: This one i had started before the prompt so it took me
about 6 ish days to finish. But i overall liked how it came out.
@Alicethemadhatter: I am good, slowly posting around
to get the rest of the items.
@Hachi: Normally i do some simple backgrounds
but i feel i could push it a lot further. So backgrounds and painting in general i want to improve on.
Yeah! I thought it was such a cute idea. Originally i was going to fully make it pink
but that stressed me out so i just chose colors i thought looked pleasing together.
For real, it really is. my main goal for art is to make merch and stickers people would want.
i also really just want to..package orders. i love packaging...

i really liked how it came out and had a really fun time just working on it as landscapes are very different from
my go-to content. which is people.
It really is. I always think of palettes or colors in general I'd love to paint together.
That's the main reason i want to paint. Other part is i want to get really good at story telling through my painting.

I really loved my botany prompt from pinktober because of the concept i just had which was a girl in a sort of
plant glass bottle. i'm not sure what they are called but i just loved the concept i had for it.
so i made it into a sticker for my redubble shop lol.
i might even buy the sticker for myself...to put on my massive sketchbook i bought recently.
my sketchbook size is like 11x14 so i got lots of room for drawing, and putting stickers on it lmao.

so i just tried it and it was pretty fun to paint. even tho im not super good at it. :vanora_sweat:
Yes, both are mountain pictures. but the newer mountain pic has a lot more color. Like pinks and oranges in it.
so i am excited to work on it. Though my pen is still charging.
