Boss, Well in my experience (irrelevant of if the person is male or female), unless things are discussed directly
if there is flirting and people like each other a lot, then saying something kind of along those lines seems fairly normal. It's your choice to be honest or avoid talking about it. Some might think chuckling it off just means you might be cute and shy, though?
Buuuttt if you are upfront with him and he persists against your wishes, then we gotta problem with him fo' sho' :vanora_huff:

Yeah I've met so many different people with so many different interests, likes, dislikes, ways of talking, ways of thinking. I try to keep from fully categorizing people.
Boss, Not really about how you were raised, but like-- Does he know him talking to you like that makes you uncomfortable and you are not interested in anything(?) sexual?

Not all men want sex. I have an Asexual male friend. Who was completely honest with me upfront before we ever went and hung out together in case I got the wrong impression.
I don't know the whole situation, but before grouping someone with "all the others" maybe it would be a good time to have an honest discussion with him about how you feel.
