When he ordered her to sit, she decided to comply and sit down where she had been standing. Well at least she knew what to do now? Dorothea shook her heads at the comments about wouldn't it be great. She could launch into an lecture, about how sure she didn't want to marry, because she didn't want to be tied down, or at least find someone wouldn't do that, but she also wanted love. If she took the night of pleasure, and embraced the exile, how would she live? She's a woman, unless she becomes a lady of the bathhouse she'd have to way to make money. Women weren't allowed to impact society, like the goddess were allowed to. She decided to go with a simpler response. "It's just not that simple.." She muttered softly.

When he mentioned she thought him a monster, she was snapped out of her musings. She felt slightly ashamed at her earlier comments, and she averted her gaze. She understood him better down, and she felt sympathy, but she also didn't want to die because he couldn't be bothered. When he made the soft whisper, she barely caught the words. If she had felt more daring, she might protest. She could launch into a tirade must, like yesterdays. But part of her knew it would be hollow. She didn't know what she was feeling, she was confused.

Dorothea could hear the change in his voice. She shift back to the cocky arrogant god, he like'd to be. She must have gotten to bold, for him to reminder her of her roles. But she didn't know what to say. " I just realized I never told you my name was Dorothea and I realized you must be bored of talking, so I figured I might try another form of entertainment." Now of course it wouldn't be the sort of entertainment he would prefer, but well he was the god of music, and she had been told her voice was pleasant and she could carry a tune. In truth, she had a beautiful singing voice, but she was not suppose to boastful.

Dorothea took a deep breath before she started singing the Thanasis Kleopas-Hymn. It was a very hymn dedicated to Apollo and a muse. At least it would give her time before having to find another conversation.

(Hymn)

I agree with you on your first two points.

I had read part of the mortal instruments books but so many started coming out that I’m way behind. I need to read more of Ricks story’s. I only ever finished the Percy books.

Well I my case it was a good thing I didn’t end up with David.

You know I also have never met anyone who has read them either. I tried once to get my bestie too but she wouldn’t.

Oh it’s a good series and it involves like traveling to different worlds.

I own every book of the series. So when I was a wee freshmen in high school, my librarian recommended them to be. So I read the whole series and then bought them. It's actually funny, when I was a freshmen, the boy I swore I was in love with, aka crush, name was David.

Have you ever read the pendragon book series?

Well I think it's worth it. Make sure if you do, start with the Circle of Magic Quartet. Then it goes the Circle Opens, and a couple more books after. I've always really enjoy her books. So if you read any of them by her, I highly recommend it.

I use to have tons of posting formats on another site, but I lost them all. I want one, but I am lazy.

So the Circle of Magic books are written by Tamora Pierce. Going to quote wiki here. "Circle of Magic is a quartet of fantasy novels by Tamora Pierce, set in Emelan, a fictional realm in a pseudo-medieval and renaissance era. It revolves around four young mages, each specializing in a different kind of magic, as they learn to control their extraordinary and strong powers and put them to use. It is followed by another quartet, The Circle Opens, which takes place four years later, and the standalone book The Will of the Empress, which takes place several years after that."

Basically, it starts with being about four young mages. Each one has their own talent, you have Tris the weather mage, Sandy the thread mage, Briar the plant mage and Daja she's a fire/metal mage. There are other characters, but the first four set of books follows their stories.

In high school, I would have said my favorite god/goddess was Nemesis.
Though me and my friends assigned ourselves characters from the
Circle of Magic books. Have you heard of those?

Hmm, I need to work on having a set posting format, but lazy.

Well I hear, it might be something about the order of the world. Though don't tell me Dad, but he's the maker of
most of those marriages you mention and he ain't one to admit he's wrong.
