@Eruca: Well Rose kinda became time itself in Bad Wolf so she has alot more understanding about time and The Doctor than almost everyone, even probably River. I wouldn't mind following River on some of her adventures without The Doctor. She seems really independent and clever in her own right. We just didn't get the chance to really see her in action without The Doctor taking the spotlight. Maybe they were trying to set up a spin off? Or testing the waters for the eventual female Doctor Who. They have been really cautious about doing it. First they had River, then they made Missy (which I loved). Before taking the plunge with the actual Doctor.
I feel like Jodie Whittaker has big shoes to fill and I am really hoping she will do a good job because she is setting a precedent for future female Doctors. If she does badly they won't ever take a chance like that again. So fingers crossed!

@Miku: Damn...I knew her too! She was so fun! Too bad I didn't ask for any other way to contact her either. Who could've predicted the site would go down? :vanora_sad: I miss her too! I keep hoping she will show up again someday.
PS: Tuijp over there likes cookies but not mint ones and he is allergic to peanuts. Bribe away. Personally I prefer to threaten him with peanuts :vanora_xd:

@Lithinel: Yeah the whole Rory and Amy's daughter thing was really weird but I guess they wanted to make someone capable of truly understanding The Doctor to be his wife. Sure, humans can empathize with his loneliness and his need for adventure but they will never know how it feels to regenerate and to live so long and see so much. They had to make another Time Lord. Sure, she seems like just a female version of The Doctor and that's not really creative but maybe they will flesh her out more in the future? The only other time lord is The Master and frankly his relationship with the doctor is beautiful as it is, no point trying to change that one. I am not trying to change your opinion on her I am just showing you how she looks like from my perspective.

@Eruca: You are right about Bill leaving too soon. She was so fun and childlike, I feel like they had a student-teacher relationship that could have really been explored but didn't really get the chance to. I wasn't really into the Clara-Doctor relationship which was more father-daughter I think..didn't really make that much of a lasting impact on me. I do love Nardole though, he brought the sass!

@Eruca: River is his wife but as he moves forward in his timeline she is moving backwards through it. So his first kiss with her is her last kiss with him. The day he first meets her in the library is the last time she will ever see him and she dies. I don't understand it fully myself but it seems to be something like a Benjamin Button situation, with a little timey wimey wibbly wobbly bullshit in the middle. Its not as linear as Benjamin Button because time travellers go to any place in time. I hope I explained it good.
I really like how Donna never thought she was special and she kinda saved everyone in the end by just being herself. Martha...I feel like she outgrew the doctor. Like she didn't need him anymore after awhile. I kinda just started getting used to Peter Capaldi before he changed I am quite sad about it. I like his latest companion too, she is so optimistic and wide-eyed, it kinda reminds me of myself when I first started watching the show.
