@Miss Kitty: Sooo...maybe curled up on the couch watching tv then? How does that sound for a scene?
Posted in The sanctuary Posted 7 years ago
Yeah people sometimes point out things I completely miss. Its very helpful. But also, I prefer asking people I know rather than strangers. I feel kinda vulnerable just asking random people.

I hate it more when they say it sucks but won't tell me why so sit there and think and think whats wrong with it.
Posted in The sanctuary Posted 7 years ago
Oh wow....don't tell her it sucks then.. but tell her its better with yellow cheese? People are very honest with me when my cooking sucks, it hurts but that's how I get better. I prefer knowing.

The one I ate was soft on the inside but hard on the outside. I didn't like the outside part. Also, huh, I guess I do have Dutch cheese!! :vanora_xd: I never thought to google where they came from.

Tell your mom her recipe sucks and she needs to use yellow DUTCH cheese instead :vanora_xd:

Haha weird...maybe that's why you hate it..Yellow cheese is much better in lasagna cos its got all the melty goodness.
Posted in The sanctuary Posted 7 years ago
Haha you put cottage cheese in lasagna? I just use one of the yellow cheeses..
Posted in The sanctuary Posted 7 years ago
Haha my mom hates cottage cheese too its kay, I understand. If I ever meet you in RL I will cook for you and try to convert you then. :vanora_xd:

Yeah I am sure XD Cream cheese is expensive-ish here too. This is the pie version.

This is the savoury version.

Haha it took me awhile to get used to it. In Croatia they put it in pie and cake and many other different things, both sweet and savoury types.

Haha I have only ever had it once, its too expensive to eat everyday. For everyday, I usually eat Gouda, Trapist or Edamer. And even those I don't eat everyday. Cheapest is probably cottage cheese. That, I have lots of recipes for.

I can get brie over here. I like the gooey inside but not the hard outside of it. A little pricey as far as cheeses go.

I'll see what I can do about the Dutch cheese...we have quite the selection of French ones and our own so I might find something similar. (Don't think I forgot! I will find a way to pay you back somehow)

Thanks so much for the recipe! I am definitely saving it. That sounds heavenly. All hail queen of the burgers *crowns*
