not to long before the lockdown xD even shorter for my niece and nephew born around Jan.

i'm really thankful the lockdown happened after my baby was born. My family at least got to see her briefly before things shut down.

I've had pretty bad writer's block over the last couple years myself. Mainly I've been doing just completely disjointed train of thought writing.
pregnancy always messes up my brain T.T

*googling* I'm finding reference /inspo pictures right now so i can draw Kavahann at some point. I can't do anything without reference pictures cause my mind is a black hole. Nothing visible. LOL.
so I'm looking up references so i have what I'm "visualizing" and can pull the elements together.

Thanksgiving is a whole family affair. Everyone cooks and eats together (though many of us get distracted by football) and since we finally have a house (once covid is over) It's probably going to be a big family affair again with us hosting as for the last few years we haven't had a house that could handle everyone.
we're in a centralized location for a good portion of the family to make it to.

mashed potatoes, turkey, ham, green bean casserole, olives, cranberry sauce, stuffing.

depending on family members in attendance, pumpkin pie, apple pie, bumpkin bread with and without chocolate chips, banana bread, zucchini bread. fresh rolls, bacon brocolli salad, pasta salad, chocolate pudding pie, ice cream. Salad salad

i feel like I'm missing something...
(my parents both come from families of 8, I'm from 5, and hubby is from 3 JUST counting the kids and not the parents or cousins)

Well my nano started out as a dnd adevnture that i was going to mix modern fantasy with pokemon and have it be the story of a particular party on an adventure. but it is turning into the back story of one character from the party and his parents. Where they came from and a brief story of the adventures that they've been on to get to the point at which the party for the original story meets and I've scrapped the pokemon angle entirely because i have such a horrible time writing fanfiction.

even though i COULD do pokemon. I just can't. T.T

i do not have a meal planned. but we tend to have the same thing every year.

OH GOD> i just realized my kids have off school for the next five days.

uhhhhh welll... if i double my word count today i should be all caught up with nano's target goal line. haha... ha... >.<
I haven't been writing anything down. My dad was here. the event. construction. teaching myself to pixel. cleaning house for one maybe two people to come over on Thursday. clean clean clean

I think he's gonna be a bit of a tsun character. And I really REALLY wanted to make a sorcerer as not a typical skinny frail coughing weakling that sorcerers seem to get portrayed as a lot. I wanted a big strong beefy character that breaks the stereotype. and then double the breakage by making it an orc who is a sweet caring dude as opposed to barbaric rude stereotype of orcs/half-orcs.

and also dragon. cause dragon.
