@another movie addict: heh, reminds me of once I got a comment on somethign whiel I was drinking. I dont remember the exact comment, but I do remember getting soda snorted out trough my nose because I laughed so.

@rainbowpanda: its easy to like school if your home is a mess or your parents are on drugs/ constantly fighting/ alchoholics.... * speaks from experience as a kid where i loved the school despite being bullied. because it meant i was away from unstable persona like my mothers random moodswings and my dad who dragged friends home to sit and drink, some doing drugs..

That way a school easily becomes a safe haven.

@tuijp: Nah I dont want to confuse him more than he already is. I find a good way to get people to understand cosplay and the community better is to calmly explain that you can go to conventions without having to wear a costume, that costumes, if you make them yourself, can be super time and money-cosuming . That there are tutorials online on a lot of things, the openess of homosexuality ( yuri/yaoi.. at least her ein Denmark ) how the costumes are judged when they go on stage, and so on. instead of going completely spam mode as these that have commented so far do. by posting pictures while screaming yaoi! yuri! binders! and so on.
