@another movie addict: I'm usually the one amongst my friend who doesn't know popular movies or the like. Moslty cause I didnt grow up owning a computer, or being allowed by my parents to watch much else then old danish movies and the news,. And crimeshows..
Trying to catch up on that stuff now.. Which title was it if I may ask?

*dances around in celebration * ( where is the party emojis when I need them ?) Just got the best news of this year, which litterally had me in tears: My younger sister is pregnant, will be out of 1st trimester tomorrow.

@tuijp: Ah, thank you for clarifying. Give s me a bit more of hope for this part of the event despite my country not celebrating halloween and such things... The nearest hallowen we get I guess is harvest parties. xD

Just to be 100 percent clear. Does this mean we can still join even when the pictures of some of the items have been taken? I pretty much understood this part of the event to be a first come first serve kind of thing.

@unicorn: I... Have No idea tbh... I find my vontells hair has turned out pretty well ( it's so funny to draw! ) But in general I'm terrible hard on myself and lacking self-confidence/self-esteem in my art and all things I create :vanora_sweat:

@boss rimi: Ah you just reminded me that I gotta get my hands on a steampunk manga by Jun mochizuki ( also the mangaka behind a mangaI really ejoyed; Pandora Hearts ) This steampunk/vampire manga is called the book of Vanitas, fell over it randoly at my last convention. Was sold on the spot after reading the first manga.
And to get my hands on thr Welcome to Night vale Novel if its still for sale, along with Beyond belief by the Thrilling adventure hour ( which is a podcast in case you didnt know xD Same with Welcome to Night Vale * when looking at the front page I cant help but imagine Voltra as Night Vale just with electricity instead of glowing clouds, and other oddities .w. * )

And yes a persons taste in books tells a lot about a person, justlike their home tbh.. ( speaking of home.. yes my space is quite tiny. 1 room apartment in a 'ghetto' area... It's on the countrys ghetto list unfortunately. Trying to save up money to get to a new apartment with more sace and awy from gangs + drugs+ thieves, and random loud parties till 5 am. Not easy when on wellfare.. 35 kvm/squaremetres(?) is my livingspace, with only one window, where only half of the window can be opened to air out )
Here in Denmark we dont have a specific 'title/genre' to cover fictional books, they usually just go under either ' books for adults/teenagers' or ' roman' or ' novelle' og 'klassiker' ( aka classic )

Ah 50 shades I only read half of first page from my old roomie before she kicked me out on the streets... Her not liking me being best friends with her boyfriend, so now we only get to see each other at conventions, when she is not hanging up'n down his shoulders... >>;;
Actually I think it was 50 shades that they were kicking between them back then, but still I definitly do not think that is the way to threat books. Im also researching old bookbinding techniques as I need to bind my own book with black pages ( as getting black paged and thick sketch-books seems to be impossible.. yep its for a cosplay from earlier mentioned book of vanitas )


And ys, to me it seems like the book is hiding behind the avatar, that or it is supposed to look like it is in the backpocket... ? oO Alternative place to put your books xD

Naah, I think she might accept it better if it was books as part of fashion... Speaking of which I once saw a danish designer make a suit completely out of paper.. Ive also seen some nifty book-ties and book-dresses...

Unfortunatly I have one bad thing when it omes to books; my hands react on most books from 1990's and before then.. Before they started using acidfree paper, so when handling those I ned to wear gloves.. :/

Ooh leaves, gonna see if I can get by some even if they havent changed color yet tomorrow.. only know one place they have started changing colors and I do not dare to get to that part of town while its still dark xD

@boss rimi: Whats books do you like to read? I just love books in general, really want to see the queens library, not only the one that is out to see for people visiting the capital ( who apparently calls it belles library ) but also her more private collection, which I have only seen a glimpse of in 3 pictures that was snapped by a journalist years ago, after getting her permission to a 10 minute interview. S many books looked awesome.

Wish I had a larger apartmnt then I could get more shelves for my books, currently they are in 2 layers on my 2 bookshelves, and on my table as wel as mixed in between the fabricshelves, where I store my fabric for costumes and clothing that I sew in my energetic-creative sparetime. when I have the energy xD

I once saw some boys bkicking a boook around at a trainstation as if it wre a soccerball, my heart bled so much for it and I had the meanest urge to rush in ansd save it, but wasnt the best time as it was rushhour..
Also bought Vontells book in a hertbeat when I saw it was there, just a shame it is hiding behind the avatar from what I see. Would also LOVE to have a stack of books at my avatars feet. :vanora_heart:
