We stayed at a place on the beach once and they didn't have a broom. The floor got so sandy we ended up sweeping with towels.

Sorry you have shitty people bugging you on your birthdays; I know that feel. Glad you have good ones, too, and a less stressful job. That'll go a long way to making things better. Hope the rest of your birthday goes/went well.

@koneko: That seems easy enough to arrange... It's weird, I can walk 3 miles in 90 degree weather and not have a problem, then suddenly I attempt a pushup and wtf. Though I've noticed it seems much more affected by stress than actual temperature, and today has been stressful. So who knows.
