argo finishes wiping a glass by the e-reader till, walks over, and raises an eyebrow. cash? he squints his eyes, black rectangular pupils set in ochre orbs. bold of you.

argo closes the bar. he taps a small blue rectangle into the reader above the handle. the monocorp calling card glows blue, locking the door and logging the interaction as clocking out of his shift.
the rain continues. argo looks up at the drizzle and pulls the hood of his black windbreaker over his head, his long dark horns curving through the slits exposed. his bike rumbles to life, greeting argo as its owner's biometric signature enters its radius. argo locke. nubian ibex. 5'9". 162 lbs. blood type m. current mood: tired.
all motor vehicles in new angeles by default required owner registration with monocorp. all users agree for their data to be logged and streamed to monocorp. there was no way to opt out, not with monocorp. if you knew the right people, though, you could get devices to work locally without being connected to the network. luckily, argo was able to cash in on some favors with the fae sisters from hacking. he double taps the jailbroken calling card to disable location and biometric tracking on all devices.
the storm picks up. argo sighs.
lightning flashes to the east, revealing column after column of apartment complexes silhouetted in the sky. a moving shadow in the night rain, the suzuki-tron vxt7 rumbles into the storm, roaring to the tune of thunder.

and that sounds awful, i would be so irritated :-/
that sounds like so much too, like calls And Texts and multiple numbers
i usually keep my phone on silent and ignore calls by default unless i know who it is :-/

(i am not a medical prof so pls ignore me if that is unhelpful)
@0v7: right!!! i started to realize i had it bc one day i spent the day w a friend walking around n stuff
and at the end of the day i was like wait a sec, what do u mean your feet and back aren't screaming at u ......... and that's normal for u.......?
sorry to hear about your back, and i hope next time u use it can be a good experience!
yumm rosemary is strong to me so end up not using a lot at once but cilantro i could literally eat a fistful of lol
when i had a cilantro plant i was definitely going thru it faster than it can grow, i had to be like ok, this plant is for growing first eating second
and that's great to hear ^^ i think that is a thing, like plants naturally come back after dying
esp seasonally, like some plants only live during half the year or just a season
i have zucchini in my fridge now that i am excited to eat lol
how do u usually eat the cucumbers ??

is lucid dreaming something you learned to do or does it happen often naturally?
@siron: haha it can be hard to write down dreams esp when you're sleepy, like you don't wanna move and go thru the effort
yeah i feel like it happening while napping is related to rem sleep too? i'm also not an expert
i think i sleep decently well now so i think that's related to experiencing the scary dreams less!
being afraid to sleep is the worst!! it can be so rough
