ooh what kinds of videos?? i had a friend who was working on a project classifying bird sounds, i wonder how that went now lol
at first i was just like oh that's interesting and fun but now i'm like i see how that would be very useful!!
oh my gosh i didn't know they made duck sounds lol and i didn't realize they could do mimicry like that!! lol i'm looking up starling videos on youtube now ...
if you have a link to the video i would be interested in seeing it!! lol
and like i wonder what they're saying, it's just so cool to think about how they're communicating ^^ and what are they screaming about at 5 am lol
btw i hope you had a good birthday yesterday! ^^

omg i knew someone in tn whose sweet tea was 1:1 sugar to water lol
i liked sweets enough as a kid but a few years ago i think my tolerance for sweet has gotten fairly low
like i'll eat something i liked a lot as a kid and it'll be too sweet now :-(
sometimes i'll avoid eating nostalgic sweets so i can preserve the good memory of it lol

@siron: ooh i think i just like remembering dreams ^^ like they're so interesting and i feel like writing them down is the only way i could possibly remember them!
oh my gosh lolol if i woke up on the floor i would start crying out of fear lol
hmm i don't think i get it too often, but in the past it happened a lot if like, i couldn't sleep all night and then had to nap during the day. usually if i wake up from the nap and went to bed that night, it would happen more often
it hasn't happened too much in the recent years tho, i think i have prioritized taking care of myself and my body including my sleep schedule/hygiene - thankfully bc those dreams were awful lol i would be scared to go back to sleep but know i had to cuz i needed sleep
it takes a while to build up a habit :0 but i think if you can keep it up for enough days it can end up sticking! and true the fun aspect is a good incentive :-)

@keturah: ahh i feel u, i think digital painting is maybe not the most common hobby lol
oo watercolor brushes! i actually made a deviantart account the other day lol so i could download brush packs!
oo love watching process videos!! what was interesting to me abt loish's video was that the initial sketch honestly didn't look like much lol but the end result is so good - it made think a little abt like ... i feel like that process is better in the long run, cuz you get a more dynamic / better composition in the end, but it also to me feels like pressure to do the whole thing lol
like vs. having the initial sketch look good standalone but might feel stiffer? idk
it's also interesting cuz sometimes i've seen process vids where i liked the piece a little better after the sketch+shading stage than the end result, and that happens to me a lot too actually when sometimes the painted version i like less despite all the extra effort lol
it's made me think about how like ideas/composition, sketching, and painting can be like related but separate/distinct skills
i think for sketching it's ok for me to get caught up in details but bad when i do it with painting
ooh i see, maybe i'll put something together then and can catch the last week or two of it!

the only handheld i've owned was the gameboy color :0 with the red/blue pokemon games
i feel like ds was like. the most exciting time lol
esp with cooking mama!! what a revolution

does it get cool at night? does it get cooler in the dry season at all?
ooh i've been drinking cold water and sitting in front of the fan
luckily it's not too bad at night and not as bad in the shadier parts of my apartment
i don't usually shower twice a day but i have in the past if it gets really bad and i just feel gross lol
like if i had to go outside and stuff
