When she arrived at her home, she found nothing.

Nobody was there.

She was alone.

However, as she predicted, she then received a call. Not a text. A call.

From a private number.

"Good girl." Liam said to her when she answered.

"Now. Look out your window." he told her.

When she did, she saw him standing about 10 metres away.

Just staring at her.

Rebecca sighed before turning away from him.

"Fuck you Liam." She snarled as she made her way through to lock the doors, so that he definitely couldn't get in.

"Prove to me that you can stop this global shit before I give you what you want." She then said.

After a minute or so, she received a text.

You're a smart girl. You're waiting for me to fix the world, aren't you? he sent.

Very well. he then sent further.

Give me 30 minutes. And then check the news. the next one read.

And don't you dare try and hide. he warned her.

Rebecca was silent, knowing that he was right. She didn't know what else she could actually say or do here, aside from as he said.

Yeah yeah yeah. Was all she sent to him before sighing lightly. She didn't know what he was going to do, exactly, or if he was going to leave, but she did know that there was a promise made on both ends.

Might as well leave a note for what's going on... she thought before pulling her phone out of her pocket and typing a rather long text.

She didn't hit send, as there was about fifteen miinutes left before Liam's promise, and she'd send it after seeing those results.

15 minutes later, Jackson received a text.

"Huh?" he muttered, looking at his phone.

He'd been busy looking for Rebecca, and hoped it wad from her.

It was, but when he read it, he got very angry suddenly.

"Son of a BITCH!" he yelled, punching the closest wall, and not caring who was around him, or who heard or saw him.

"DAMN IT!" he cursed further.

As he punched the wall, someone was walking by and stopped.

"What's got you so riled up?" She asked. When he turned to look, he saw someone he'd become relatively well acquantied with - Robyn, or as most people knew here there, Gemini - looking a bit quizzical.

"Because... well, the dent in the wall and you're possibly busted knuckles say something has. So what's up?" She sounded as bored and disintrerested as always, but he'd spoken with her enough to know that that's just how she sounded, and that she truly did care.

Robyn saw the anger in Jackson's eyes, but she also saw extreme sadness, and tears beginning to well up in them.

"It's..." he stammered.

"It's Becca." he told her.

Then, before she could ask, he thrust the phone towards her.

"Here, read it." he said.

"She's sacrificing herself! To save the world!" he went on.

"But she's gone back to... to HIM!"

Robyn accepted the phone and read the text before sighing.

". . . Yeah... see, I doubt others around here will be happy with that." She commented.

"I can understand her reasoning, however." She added as she handed the phone back.

"At any rate, are yoi going to go tell Sharp?" She asked. Or would you prefer I did?"[/b]

"...I can't." he said.

"I'm too angry." he told her.

"I feel ready to lash out at someone. Anyone." he went on.

"So I'm going to destroy some heavy bags in the hopes it satisfies this." he said further.

"You tell Agent Sharp."

Robyn nodded.

"Of course. May I take your phone? It would avoid yih breaking it, and it has the text, if Sharp would prefer to read it directly." She asked. After he agreed, and made sure she had his phone, she just nodded.

"I'll go tell him. Hopefully we can save her." was all she said before heading off.

Jackson just sighed, before shaking his head and storming off.

He needed to blow off steam, and he needed to do it NOW.

Meanwhile, Hal was in his office, going through news feeds, and stopping for a moment.

"...wait, what?" he muttered.

"The movement is... already losing traction?" he mumbled further, smiling a little, before hearing a knock on his door.

"Enter!" he called to whomever it was.

When she was beckoned to enter, Robyn did so before closing the door and approaching. She merely set Jacksons phone on the desk in front of him.

"I know you noticed the news." She commented.

"And this is why. He's off beating on some heavy bags, and trying not to lose his mind with this."

And his expression changed. To sorrow, shock, and anger.

"...damn it." he cursed.

"Damn it all!" he repeated, louder this time.

"This is unacceptable!" he declared.

"Such a price should not need to be paid!"

"Those under your employ are... pretty phenomenal. I'm sure you could find her and save her." She added with a shrug.

"Unless that wouldn't work, of course. I have no idea, myself."

It was then that he received a call, and answered it.

"Hal Sharp speaking." he said.

Robyn then watched his eyes widen, and his face pale.

"....there's been an assassination attempt on Hollie...?" he asked in a whisper.

"I... yeah." The voice on the other side answered, obvious emotion to her voice.

"She's... alive." She continued before taking a breath to try and calm her own nerves and emotions.

"She's being tended to at the council, but... it's not a guarantee that she'll survive."

Hal almost collapsed from shock, but managed to sit down slowly.

"I... I see." he said.

"At least... she's alive." he said further.

"...though I'm not sure I can say the same for whomever attempted this, for long." he went on.

"They've made some very serious enemies." he continued, his tone dark.

And from what Robyn could see, his expression even darker.

"I don't know if they are alive still, or not." She admitted.

"Also, you might have to fight Dad for the chance to unleash hell upon him."

He then forced himself to calm down, and let out a deep breath.

"Please keep me informed, Nakia." he told her.

"I'll be there as soon as I can to try and help... if there's any way that I can." he said further.

"Thank you for letting me know." he finished.

"Take care of yourself, just... please. Don't let yourself or Lunet run into trouble either. Not... sure Dad could take it, if I'm being honest." She added with a light laugh.
