"Erica, meet Dr. Sebastien LeBlanc." he then said, gesturing to Bast.

"Our new resident therapist, working alongside Dr. Fyrane." he went on.

"Really?" Bast asked Sharp, his tone hopeful.

"You've proven yourself to be worth your weight in gold, my boy." Sharp confirmed.

Erica was silent for a moment before chuckling.

"I... I guess that I was a good test run." She commented, slightly hesitantly.

"Anyway... I just... I'm heading home." She said. "I'm not even sure how I got here, admittedly. So I'm hoping my car is outside."

"Right..." he said.

"Do you require any assistance?" he asked.

"Getting home, that is." he clarified.

"Whether it be teleporting you home if your car isn't here, or driving you home if it is?"

"Yeah... yeah please." She said simply.

"I would rather not have to deal with a cab, and... just...." She paused, shaking her head, slightly.

"not sure driving myself would be a good idea."

"All right." he said.

He then called for someone to come up to his office.

"You'll be home safely soon enough." he told her.

"How long should she rest for?" he asked Sebastien.

"2-3 days." Bast responded.

"Let me know how you're feeling in 3 days." Sharp then told Erica.

"These were extenuating circumstances, and your wellbeing was in jeopardy." he said.

"I'm just glad it all worked out in the end." he finished.

-Several months later-

Sebastien had established himself as a practicing therapist in the Unit, and as such, both he and Jordan became well-known by many in the building... including the security guard.

Which is why Jake wasn't surprised to see Jordan step into the security checkpoint around noonish.

"Hey Jordan." he greeted her.

"Here for lunch with Sebastien?" he asked.

"'course I am." she answered honestly.

"What else would I be here for?" She then asked with a light smirk.

"But yeah, I'm here to to grab Bast for lunch."

"In ya go." he told her.

"Is he expecting you?" he asked.

"Because I know you've surprised him with a lunch date on occasion."

"Nahh, he knows i'm coming today." She told him honestly before stepping through the door.

"Also, here." she said,m pulling something out of her pocket and handing it to him once she'd stepped up toi where he was.

"It's a recipe that Bast absolutely loves, and thought that Anya might enjoy it."

"Huh." he muttered.

"Yeah, this seems like something she'd enjoy." he agreed.

"Thanks." he told her with a smile.

"I'll let you know what she thinks of it."

"sounds good." Jordan said before waving and heading off.

As she approached Bast's office, she started to feel... weird. She couldn't place it, and certainly couldn't decide it. She was just feeling... weird... odd. She looked to her hands, noticing her nails glowing ever so slightly before sighing and shoving them into her pockets. This wasn't the first time she'd witnessed that. She had no idea what it was that caused it, but did now that there was something. She just reasoned that she really should look into it.

Two people were talking, and the redheaded one froze. She 'looked' down to her hands, silence, as it seemed they acquired a bit of a glow.

".... what the...." She muttered before there was a knock on the door.

"I... I should get out of here." She then said as she got to her feet after looking to her watch.

"Should have left about half an hour ago."

The other one, the one that the redhead had been talking to, looked a bit confused.

"What?" he asked.

"I mean, it's true that things ran a bit long, but that's not an issue." he told her.

"If you feel you need to go, I'm not holding you back, but if there's a problem, that's what I'm here for." he added with a light chuckle.

He then looked at the door.

"Who is it?" he called out.

"Jordan!" The one on the other side of the door answered.

"You have a lunch date." the redhead reminded him after a moment. There was something ot her voice, although it was hard to identify. Sure, Bast was good, but Hazel was one that he was having a hard time properly cracking.

As was the other psych on site. She was just way too complex, almost like a project for the pair of them.

The redhead paused, looking to the door as Bast made his way over to open it.

"... don't open it." She said suddenly.

"There... there's something more beyond that door." She added, knowing that he likely wouldn't believe her.

He paused when she told him that, and looked at her questioningly.

"Eh?" he mumbled.

"Something much more? What are you talking about?" he asked her.

"It's Jordan." he said. "That's all." he told her.

Now, he was still very new to the Unit. If it had've been anyone else, her warning would have been taken extremely seriously, and caution would have been exercised. But he had yet to realise just how serious and severe Hazel's warnings were, especially those like this. It wasn't that he thought she was nuts or anything, but he just couldn't see the danger that opening the door to let Jordan in would cause.

"What do you mean 'something more'?" he then asked further... as he opened the door.

"Hey there babe. Lunch still a go, or are you busy?" She asked, noticing the redhead thay was sitting in the room with him.

"I can sit and wait, not an issue if you need some more time." She added.

"No, no, it's fine." he said.

"Hazel was just saying she had to go, anyway." he told her.

"Unless there's anything else you wish to talk about?" he then asked Hazel.

In the back of his mind, he was still wondering about what she had said... and what she could have possibly meant by it.

It was just Jordan.

Hazel didn't say anything, knowing that she couldn't really here. IF she did, she wouldn't be taken seriously, as he was already showing that.

There was more to Jordan than it seemed they both knew, and she knew that.

"No.... not there isn't." The redhead said as she got to her feet.

"I'll see you around." She added before leaving, perhaps a bit quicker than would be normal. Jordan stepped aside to let her pass, but they still ended up bumping shoulders.

Which caused Hazel to stumble, before stopping.

"... shit..." She said quietly as both of them could feel the mana starting to come off of her in waves.

The mana was strong.

Strong enough to cause Bast to almost fall to his knees.

"Shit..." he cursed.

"This... damn it, this mana is... oppressive..." he said further, his tone strained.

"Hazel... what... what's happening?" he then asked Hazel, noticing that the dark side of her was beginning to 'invade' her other half... and rapidly, at that. It looked like something almost out of a horror movie.

"Do we need to... get help...?" he asked further, barely managing to remain on his feet.

Hazel was completely silent, and still. She wasn't moving, didn't seem to be breathing, nothing. She looked like she was a statue at the moment.

"Bast, what's going on?" Jordan asked, her voice curious, concerned as she looked between the pair of them. He seemed to have some sort of an idea, after all.

There was definite concern to her face and voice though, and even if one wanted to try and deny it, they really couldn't. She didn't sound outright scared, but definitely on edge, at the very least.

Hazel, meanwhile, didn't answer his inquiry. It almost seemed like she couldn't. The mana that they could literally see rolling off of her was ... strong. As Jordan reached out to the woman, and felt her hand be caustically burned, she recoiled in both shock and pain.

"The hell!?"
